International Border security is a Federal responsibility - so they can over-Rule.
So it doesn’t matter if the state government approved, because they don’t set the rules for international arrivals - the Federal Government needs to approve.
There’s a disconnect between State & Federal Government for sure - Labour Vs Liberal - so all sorts going on there.
Put simply - they were conditions to be met - he either met them or he didn’t.

I am surprised this part is missing in most of the news being presented with respect to the Djokovic saga. If you get a visa doesn't mean, you have a right to enter that country. Tons of folks with visa's are turned away at the US border every month if the border police finds some issues with the passport or visa details. I am sure it is the same in Germany, England, Australia or any other country.
There’s all sorts of confusing things going on here.
The visa - yes, it’s a form you fill in - then you might be asked to prove you’ve met the conditions of the visa to gain entry.
Exemptions - that’s a Federal decision - not a state one. so getting an exemption from the Vic State Government or Tennis Australia... that’s pointless.
He may have signed a form that said he made the requirement to enter Australia - but when asked for proof.... none... that generally gets you deported.
There’s politics at play here... but only because he let politics become an option.

I thought it would occur to those of average intelligence that all of those politicians are the ones pushing vaccine passports and mandates etc.
And there all members of the WEF, which is pushing for the great reset, and the 2030 where you'll own nothing and be happy. An organisation funded by Bill Gates incidentally.

I think there’s whether he’s spoofing, what degree the advice that Tennis Australia have him about exemption was correct and how much political capital the Federal Government is getting out of the incident by diverting attention away from their fuck ups and being seen to be hard on unvaccinated when we’re at like 90%+ over 16 vaccinated.
