He's talking about this: https://www.theglobeandmail.com/can...-fight-against-quebecs-controversial-bill-21/
Fair enough. I just had it sent to me. Regardless of the subject, that's terrifying language from a political leader.
Pretty sure he's speaking out against it.

I'm always wary of 20 second sound bites, without the context tbh. There was one a few pages ago about Fauci talking about the possibility of the vaccine having a negative effect, which was widely shared. What wasn't said is that he was talking in March 2020 about a vaccine that hadn't been developed.
Not you as well. It's enough to wade through the vast swathes of context- and scrutiny-free drivel from Ross without you adding to it.

In fairness, at least Hal acknowledges and responds.

Says Gerry who won't respond to 90% of questions.
Like why was Fauci and co's first response to a study to try and rubbish it ?
Which study is that?
The one in the email to Fauci a couple of pages back where they talk about a need for a takedown because it's getting traction.
In reality it doesn't matter which one it is because if you were being scientific about things you would be reading and learning from studies that challenge your own thoughts. Instead the focus is on a takedown.
How about you respond to the post about the data from CDC that unequivocally says the vaccines are having a massive impact?
I would have thought a politician who had a blackface history would have chosen a different colour mask.
But ultimately you're right it is concerning , despite the usual gobshites trying to say there's nothing to see here.

There's no doubt the vaccines are having a massive impact.
They've turned billionaires into trillionaires.
We disagree on what the impact is. I believe they vaccines created the variants and enabled the wider spread of covid through the vaccinated- which would be over by now had we not started out with shit vaccines.
It's not a coincidence that the pandemic rages in all those places who got the MRNA vaccine.
The CDC stats also don't make much sense - if most deaths are in the unvaccinated but 70% of deaths come from an age range with 95% vaccination rate it doesn't add up. It's also important to remember that serious side effects from the vaccines occur in the first two weeks - so if you die from the vaccine you're an unvaccinated death.
If memory serves, when you first posted that tiktok, I laughed and provided you with enough commentary for you to work out why it was wrong. You did not work that out, nor did you ask me any questions. Then you reposted it several more times. That was the exact moment I could no longer be arsed to help out with science. Alas my child, I was mistaken and beg your forgiveness. The CDC data is the infallible word of science and I see that now.
Methinks people are in their silos now. No doubt this 'othering' will creep into other areas of life: lifestyle, politics, speech etc.
Belief in one or other of the Covid opinions is now dogma, a dogma that can't be challenged; and a dogma that cannot be reconsidered for fear of being labelled.
I would have thought that the latest variant which is currently considered milder would be a source of good news but alas it seems to have entrenched a divided population. Almost an aversion to better news.
Now we have the spectacle of the country being run 'to save the NHS' by pausing all other activity even if untold damage is being done.
I did. The scrutiny should take place before you share something, not after. Otherwise you're just complicit in spreading misinformation. Exactly the type of misinformation you've been (rightly) railing against in this thread. I only call you out on it because you're better than Ross and don't want to see you end up like him.Read the subsequent messages

I've seen a theory that it was a deliberate leak, seeded at COP26. When it ended it was transported back to various corners of the world. The main two theories around the Omicron origin are Botswana, which has low vaccination rate and lab leak. Neither of which backs up it being caused by vaccines. If it were from vaccines, we'd likely see variants from the most highly vaccinated countries?
All other variants predate vaccines, so I don't see how that one has any legs.
