Alison - 8 motm made some great saves and kept us in it. Would have been a 9 but I think he could have done more for the goal

Robertson 6 poor today, gave the ball away a lot, missplaced crosses etc

Virg - 7 very strong all game

Gomez - 7 as above

Trent - 6 same as Robbo, not the threat he can be.

Henderson - 7

Milner - 7

Wijnaldum - 7

Salah - 5

Firmino - 6

Mane - 5

That front three need to fucking fix up.

Henderson was and is fucking shite. Wake up mate.

Hahahaha. Woland's post-match Twitter summary has been getting lots of love in my Liverpool WhatsApp group. Cross-platform 6cm pollenisation (is that a word?)

You like-farming slut! This is too blatant. There should be laws against it.

Did you not read the sentence before the one you highlighted. “Bad day at the office” was a polite way of saying they were shite. Firmino got sod all service so can’t really fault him too much
You didn't claim we needed anyone else 'better' than any of them, just Shaq. As I said that's wrong simply because you ignored his other excellent performances so far and based that comment on his 25 mins or whatever it was of this game.

Disgraceful shite that. I barely saw Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic. Our 3 were dominant.
Hendo was totally sound. He was not the midfielder I would have taken off. Gini looked tired. Hendo was up for the fight.

Henderson is an honest workhorse and does a job. Keita has not yet produced a performance that convinces me that he is better than Hendo.

Henderson always works hard, but I don't think today was one of his better games. He's often a solid 7, but he was too pedestrian and their midfield were on top for long periods

City must be about 50 points ahead after tonight's sorry result. don't get me started on the goal difference either.

They play in different positions so personally I can't compare them. Actually Gini is the closest to Hendo but all of our midfielders offer something different. Keita has made a difference in the last two matches, the way he ghosts past the opposition with delicate touches on the ball. He has such a deft touch for sexy intimate passes and layoffs. He turns a team struggling to get into the opposition 'danger area' into such a team, that won't be needed in every match and maybe not to start vs. City.

Their goal difference will take a hammering when they get twatted in their next game
Indeed
Brighton, Cardiff, Newcastle, Fulham, Wolves, Huddersfield.......and only TWO of them away..its no fucking wonder they have a brilliant goal difference. Not one team there that was in the premier league in 2016!!
Arsenal aside they have played fucking Cannon fodder.

Whereas we have played aways at Leicester, Palace, Spurs and Chelsea some of the hardest aways there are.

They are obviously fucking brilliant but I wouldnt read a lot into their start.
FIVE of the teams they have beaten are in the bottom 7. And the top team are fifth.

Weve faced
3rd, 4th, 7th already

Fucking right Molby. I reckon you and I will be in the universe in the multiverse where Liverpool win the title. Unlike some of these cunts. I spit on their sorry universe.

Ironically enough as a Science graduate and a Catholic who aged 44 years old decided to actually truly think about such things as God, Life and hence the Universe whilst in a highly atheistic state of mind it was the cosmological constant and the assertion therefore that unless we do live in a infinite multiverse that restored somewhat my faith.

Or of course we are just relatively hairless chimps who belong to various cults...

I dunno...

I like the main message of my cult, the main rule basically being: do not be a cunt to people, although it chose better wording in the scripture itself.

But the multiverse has certainly veered off topic Doc...

I thought we played pretty damn well... and that equalizer was a fucking belter.

I’d rather be happy about that than sad about it.

Yes they are undoubtedly a really good team but... last season was last season... I reckon we can do em...

That's a good point that you're making.

Now Kompany is fading, I think City's defence isn't as fantastic as their midfield and forward line. The way to deal with them is to fly at them - as we have done in the recent past.
Agree.
But for doing that we need our forwards to start hitting form again.

This is why when we play them next weekend it's imperative that we at least take points off them. Ideally win.

They haven't faced anyone of note. Whilst that's great in so many respects, such as allowing players to play within themselves & continue the usual heavy pre season conditioning training during the season, & building up confidence, it means they haven't had to play a side yet who have continually pressed them & have enough quality to really hurt them.

As PSG showed, no amount of trainong can make up for that, the best players can still score of course, & they will be dangerous, but we've had to face much sharper & more dangerous teams, which in theory means we should be a little more ready for this test than they are.

That means their confidence should take a knock & the harder fixtures to come will look a little bit harder.

LAD. I know, lad.
The wrigglies are back.
Alisson: 7
Made three great saves there dressed as a massive big pink fella. What a kit. Might be at fault for there’s, maybe? I don’t know. Can do what he wants in that kit in fairness, can’t he?
Trent: 7
Few sloppy balls in. But, The Reds, let’s be honest, were the better side, and Trent is as rraaarrrh on ours, isn’t he?
Virgil: 7
Better than any of their lads, didn’t do much wrong there, deserved to be in the winning team, settled for a glorious draw.
Joe Gomez: 8
Thought he was exceptional, you know. Our best defender.
Andy Robbo: 7
Was he sound? I think he was sound. Hard one to judge really ’cause The Reds were great, then shite for a bit, and then probably deserved to win.
Henderson: 6
Thought he struggled today, you know. His use of the ball was poor, his positional sense wasn’t great.
Gini: 8
Best midfielder on the pitch. Linked up the right of the side really well, got us playing, deserved to be on the winning side.
Milner: 7
Like the whole of The Reds, played well and didn’t really get his rewards.
Mo Salah: 8
Our most dangerous player. Don’t care if he wasn’t firing on all fronts, we were worse when he went off. I wouldn’t worry about him, you know. He’s going to be sound.
Sadio: 7
Simultaneous threat coupled with being not at his best. I don’t really even know anymore, to be honest. The front three were great and shite in the same breath.
Imagine when they are great.
Firmino: 9
Was sound. Forgot about him there, didn’t I?
SUBS
Dan Sturridge: 10
Come on and just twatted one right in the top bin there, didn’t he? The wrigglies are back. Wrigglies forever. What a fella.
