Champions League quarters

Barca is all nerves all game. They have actually created plenty of opportunities (against a defense as good as Juve's), but keep shooting high and wide. Even Messi has been wasteful.

It's performances like these that make me question Neymar's status alongside the best of the game.

He's got all the ability in the world but sometimes he has moments where he just keeps making wrong choices - it's not a playground match.

I also wonder at times whether he'd have been better off at Real where he would be let loose far more than he is at Barca.

Nobody seems to bother when he's down injured anymore either. Not strange given he's rolling around in "agony" several times per game.

Juve are limiting them to minimal clear cut chances which is what Barca strive to do.

Striking for long range isn't Barca's comfort zone.

Messi misses an open goal. Difficult chance with the ball in flight, but still. I don't think I've ever seen him so nervous.

Chiellini and Bonucci

Not many better CB's in world football..even into their 30's

I'd take both over Sergi Ramos in a second.

I'm amazed Neymar allowed himself to be consoled by Alves, who absolutely destroyed him a few times with late tackles (which were not whistled).

Ref gave Barca nothing today ... didn't expect that, but I guess after ensuring Real advance yesterday, they couldn't make their bias that obvious the next day!

Barca haven't really looked up for it mentally this season. There have been losses in La Liga that will ultimately cost them the title and then then losing away 3-0 twice in the CL... you can't expect to keep on doing that.

They've spent really poorly last summer and they're overly reliant on the front three, which as good as they are isn't sustainable.

Monaco is the dark horse but I'd be tempted to say Real again.

Yesssssss

What a ball from Deodoncker....Tielemans deflected effort off the bar then Hanni smashes it past romero from rebound.
