Marcelo is one of the best LB's you'll see.

probably offside again but who cares....is this lino from England?

Fuck Madrid. Lucky bastards. Have to say Zidane did an excellent job with them though. Much better balance than in the years past. As I type it's 4:2 Real, Asensio with a final nail in the coffin.

Hummels was skinned like a player on Fifa for the assensio goal

He had nothing left in his legs by that time; he was lying down on the grass grimacing with pain at the extra-time interval. Bayern had no substitutions left and already playing with 10 men, so he had to stay on, fit or not.

Fair enough, he has mitigations. However rarely do you see a player turned inside and out in such a big game. It like like a child trying to catch a man. Hummels couldn't even pull him back

That's 41 hat tricks for Ronaldo for Real Madrid.
Easily one of the greatest of all time.
Blag Ronaldo my arse.

The amount of decisions Madrid and Barca get in European competitions from referees at key points in the game is amazing !!!

[article]Bayern have lost goalie Manuel Neuer for the rest of the season.

Despite playing 120 minutes of football against Madrid, Neuer actually finished the game in Spain with a broken foot.

The damage was caused in injury time, as Neuer suffered the injury immediately before Cristiano Ronaldo sealed his hat-trick to put the holders 3-2 up in the Bernabeu.

Neuer left the stadium on crutches, and Munich have since confirmed that the goalie is now out for eight weeks.

Will the injury affect Bayern’s Bundesliga challenge? That’s doubtful, as Munich have an eight point lead over RB Leipzig with seven games left in the season.[/article]

We should give them Karius on an emergency loan for first option on Kimmich

Just seen the Madrid-Bayern match. How could the linesman miss those-- that's beyond incompetent and borderline corrupt.

It was really poor from the ref and unfortunately history will only document that Bayern lost and Real went through.

And Ronaldo got to bump those numbers up.

This Monaco side is scary good, if they can keep Jardim and most of this XI they can win the double/treble.

So unlike what we all thought, Barca are getting no calls.
Numerous fouls have been ignored - with a few on Messi.
Messi also got hammered by Pjanic, who got no yellow because Neymar tried to kill him (and got booked).
Juve have been good, but Messi really should have made this game interesting by scoring his 'gimme' chance.
If Barca don't score by minute 70-80, expect a red or two from them ... They are fuming ...

Neymar is in a some mood today. I think he didn't pass the ball to the overlapping full-back once, always taking on everyone in front of him. He's either going to score a hat-trick or get a red card.

Goodbye, Dortmund. I don't know why Tuchel is getting a free pass from pundits, who never seem to question his reputation as a tactical genius, because in reality he has presided over a poor season and he has still a lot to learn as a coach. A bit of humility wouldn't hurt.

Felt that last year after we beat them ... however, they are building quite an offensive team (now - they need some good defenders).

Starting Durm and Dembele on the bench isnt the sign of a tactical genius.

It's performances like these that make me question Neymar's status alongside the best of the game.

He's got all the ability in the world but sometimes he has moments where he just keeps making wrong choices - it's not a playground match.

I also wonder at times whether he'd have been better off at Real where he would be let loose far more than he is at Barca.
