Indeed. I know it was only the U21s but I liked what I saw of him on Tuesday night. Reminded me a bit of Hansen.

Which I find a bit stupid. It's ok having loads of options for the midfield and attack, but you don't really want to change around your defence and keeper if you can help it. You don't want to keep swapping around your CB's every other game, as it'll ruin the partnership and understanding. And there's no point having 'great' CB's on the bench only getting games in the cup every couple of months.
At the moment we have 4 CB's who deserve a game, and 2+ waiting in the wings.
I think we're 1-2 over what we need. And I'd rather the money was spent on options further up the pitch and cover at RB.
It's all good having great players sitting on the bench, but not at the cost of not having options for other areas of the team. Look at at our RB - Johnson gets a knock so we have to put in Wisdom, who's a bit shit and a kid. He might be good one day, but he's not now. But that's ok cos we've got 200 CB's lined up.
