Pearce would be such an awful choice. Watching the U-21s is just horrible.
Redknapp will surley get it. Maybe doing both jobs until the end of the season and then England from May. He's the obvious choice imho.
Spurs will sink as a stone when he leaves though.

I'd be embarrassed for Rafa if Redknapp got this job ahead of him.

Very.

Phooey. It's the worst kept "secret" in football that the FA will insist on appointing an Englishman this time around.

In fairness to Pearce, I'd bet a decent sum he'd turn the job down even if it were offered to him. He'd know he's not anywhere near ready.

It's clear that 'Arry is the obvious choice. He wants it as well. The FA want an Englishmen. His name has been touted for months and he has never denied it. What would be interesting is whenhe takes it. Probably what will happen is that he will be appointed with an interim manager in place for the next couple of games (Pearce) What is absolute certain is that the FA will fudge the appointment. Several peoples noses will be put out of joint (probably Levy's) Also if 'Arry accepts before the end of the season it will definitely unsettle their players. All of which is good for the redmen 8) As LadyRed said - A 'Win win"
I would say the only negative to Harry taking the job is that after Spurs tank, the media will use that as another excuse to talk about how great and vital he was to them.
But he won;t have any success for England so I can live with it.
