One source has told Sky Sports News that Moises Caicedo has rejected the chance to join Liverpool.
It's understood his preferred destination is Chelsea.
Liverpool have agreed a British-record transfer fee of £111m with Brighton for Caicedo.
Sky Sports News was told earlier that Caicedo was having second thoughts about a move to Liverpool.

It's a colossal fuck up by the club if it turns out we made an extremely public and showy bid for a player who was reluctant to join us. Now we have to skulk back to Lavia and act like nothing happened. We look like complete bellends.
Whilst that may be a potential consequence, I’d far rather they showed the ambition to trump Chelsea to get Caicedo. From what was said overnight we got encouragement from player and club and put together a bid for both that was accepted.
It seems agents have got involved to screw the deal, not FSG fault.
