Obviously I realise I'm being ironic you unbelievably tiresome wankstain.

Jesus, Robin.

Cut out the personals please lads.

And oh look Aquilani's playing a blinder again....weird how letting a cracking player play results in cracking play.

but that doesn't mean that Juventus didn't deserve their first goal. Alberto Aquilani did brilliantly in the 35th minute to beat his defender before delivering an inch perfect pass into the box for Vincenzo Iaquinta. The striker hit a quality shot with his right foot to the bottom left corner,

i know i'm one of the resident RCDNW loonies on here, but you can fuck fuck fuck off with that bollocks. rafa made a few bad signings, no more and no less than about 90% of managers - if you want to blame someone, try hicks and fucking gillett.

arrogant little knobhead.

You are, but Hodgson can't blame Rafa for being this shit.

A good manager would do better with the players he has, even though we have a lot of players notfit to play for Liverpool.

He hasnt, and I hope he's gone very very soon.

Don't worry, we've got Joe Cole, and he's never injured like Aquilani is all the time.

Croqualini is playing in a league that suits his skill set and is therefore excelling.

I wonder how Konchesky will get on in the Blue Square league?

Yea, skillful players are all shit in this league, so despite all his assists, it was a good decision. I mean imagine if he'd have been in the midfield today, we'd have been bullied right off the fucking park.

So you reckon that Aqualini was a great success and well worth the £20m we paid for him then?

His signing was a major error. Which has now been compounded into a massive mistake by getting rid of him when the alternatives are so poor.

everyone knows we shouldn't have bought him, and then not loaned him out. The whole affair was a mess, however one that we should never have gotten into

I can't disagree with that Darkster.

But if you were to listen to some people you would believe that we would be topping the league if we we had held onto Alberto

Whilst I wouldn't be as aggressive, I concur with the above. His tiresome Rafa criticisms are most annoying. Rafa's worst season ( his last) was nowhere near as bad as this.

I'm no lover of Hodgson but I think we should wait until the season is over before making a true comparison.
I'm also no great lover or hater of Rafa but seeing as your only contribution ever seems to be your uncanny ability to pop up to cause shit and stir the Rafa debate, did you know that our worst league position post Shanks was 8th. Nearly Rafa. Not quite but nearly.

Rafa had to go.

Hodgson's appointment was clearly a bad one.

The club and its supporters needs to make a fresh start, bury the tit for tat bollocks and appoint/support a hungry, passionate manager that shares NESV's vision.
Who's saying that?
This fucking bollocks that the league doesnt suit him is crap. He plays in a league where Materazzi, Cordoba, Davids, Gattuso, Chiellini, Stam, Almeyda and some of the most aggresive physical footballers have ploughed their trade.
He scored goals and created goals in the few chances he got here and the only arguments for getting him off the wage bill were A)Cole would be an improvement and B)Hes always injured.
Well heres the facts, Joe Cole has been shit and Aquilani has been fit.
We've created fuck all and are drowning in a sea of mediocrity and he is playing pretty much every game and scoring, creating and winning consistent plaudits.
It was stupid to sign a player who wasnt fit for 6 months, it was stupider to not play him when he was and it was fucking retarded to loan him out and replace him with Christian poulsen.
We might not be topping fuck all with him here but we would have three players who can actually do something instead of two. Who the fuck wouldnt want that.

Yeah. Luis Garcia was hard as fuck. And Benito Carbone. And Zola.......not tough enough? What a shit argument. I agree with what the Herr posited.

Where has anyone tried to suggest any different?

It's easy to say players aren't tough enough for the premier league when they fail, yet as Andy and Liam have said, there's just as many who succeed. If you're good enough and all that...

Like how all strikers from the dutch league will never score over here, apart from the ones that do.

We'll never truly be able to say whether or not Aqua was suited to this league, because he was never given enough of an opportunity - and unless you have an unshakable belief that either Rafa or Roy knew exactly what was needed to succeed in the league, then you'll never be able to make a conclusive decision one way or the other

Well both Rafa and Roy saw him in action every day obviously didn't trust him, so clearly there were concerns with him that are easy for fans to dismiss when we lose a game.

Also known as the "Babel is a game changer" syndrome.

edit: to be fair though, Aquilani did look more likely to do something than Babel when he did actually turn up.

Is iiiiit that in 12 years of managing in the premier league ONE second place is the best they have achieved?
Rafa and Roy thought that Lucas and Poulsen were viable long term centre midfield options! Youve seen Aquilani play right? So how much faith do you have in the two fatties in this instance?

Yeah, they saw something they didn't like - so it comes down to this: do you have full confidence in their judgement?

That's got fuck all to with Roy being shit, and everything to do with the state of the squad in general.

You should read people's posts before launching on one of your tirades

that's all too easy to do single. The trick is to twist snippets from people to rant at a made up argument to justify their position
