Fulham wrapped up their January transfer business on Monday afternoon with the news that highly rated German youngster Christopher Butchmann had signed from Liverpool on an 18 month deal with the Club.
The 17-year-old from Minden was named amongst UEFA's 'Top 10 Stars of the Future' in May 2009 after playing an integral role in Germany's European U17 Championship triumph.
Before revealing the Butchmann coup, Fulham announced two loan signings on Monday morning. Firstly it was announced that AS Roma striker and Italy U21 striker Stefano Okaka had signed on loan until the end of the season before the arrival former England international defender Nicky Shorey was confirmed by the Club.
