This thread is woeful. All arguments have been put forward and only one makes sense. Does anyone actully believe that the best man for the job wasn't put forward? That we've gone bargain hunting and found someone with a blatant and deep rooted agenda against us. Regardless of who he supports his office chair hasn't even been warmed properly by his arse yet. FFS let the man do his job

As said already KopKing, you're largely basing your argument on your disdain for the men in charge and our present situation. That disdain is understandable and we all share it, but there is little point in letting it cloud your ability to see reason.

Keni do you think Broughton's reply bearing in mind customer care, was to best of his ability? A 12 year old could have written a more polite email. To my mind it shows his disdain for Liverpool fans who love the club. he doesn't care about the fans, well maybe Chelsea fans. Is it in our club's best interest to alienate its' fanbase? We need to be sold to a Liverpool loving person with Liverpool loving employees in its management structure. That's the Liverpool Way.

I still dont understand KopKing, how Broughton not attending the game means he doesnt have our interests at heart regards finding owners. Do you truly believe he will purposefully try to run the club into the ground?!

Now, if he had sole control of selling a player to Chelsea, I may consider there would be some issue, but that clearly is not the case.

As I've already said, I don't take any particular issue with his email. His main mistake was to send any kind of reply because he was in a lose-lose situation. That particular fan has already been alienated as his email clearly demonstrated. Most fans have. The owners/board aren't going to win this battle with the fans and they've already decided to sell up the club, so what more would you like them to do at this point?

In an ideal world, we'd get some lifelong mega-rich Liverpool fan with razor sharp intellect and business acumen to ride in on his white horse and rescue the club, however I think we can all agree that scenario doesn't seem very likely.

We had a Liverpool fans in Moores and Parry and saw our club stagnate and then sold to these two vultures, so ultimately it's not the most important criteria at all.

What we *really* need is for someone to come in and become a real fan of Liverpool through the desire to make them a success.

FFF I think the non-attendance in conjunction with the awful email sent to a Liverpool fan with genuine concerns indicates that. Thus far I've yet to see anything to indicate that he does have Liverpools best interests at heart.

Whether he purposefully runs the club into the ground, who knows? I hope not, he does have his professional reputation. Does he care if we have the best new Manager that we can? Time will tell, but if its not Kenny I'll have my answer in the negative. Does he want us to win the Premier League? I can tell you that: Hell No
 
Ok, I hate to tell you this but winning teh League may not be a top priority for most chairmen in the league. For the simple reason it doesnt guarantee long term financial success. Competing in the Champions League very much does so, or goes a lot further.

If you believe Liverpool will only ever have a Liverpool fan at the helm you're sadly mistaken.

We have someone hired to sell the club and he's trying to do that, but we have people who feel it fair to lambast him for a supposed influence on the sacking of a manager who wasn't good enough. Theres a fucking sham of an agenda happening at the minute where everyone at the club is in someway responsible for the sacking of St Rafa, patron saint of the fucking lunatic. The arguement before was rafa fought bravely to fight bac the tears as we beat madrid, whereas that chav loving cunt couldn't even be in the ground! HERESY!!! Rafa is paid to beat teams and win us things, broughton is paid to sell the club. He could never see us play for all i fucking care as long as we're sold.

This chelsea agenda rubbish is beyond a fucking joke. For the first time i'm ashamed to be a liverpool fan. There are fucking cunts up and down the country deploring this sacking as an injustice and how those greedy yanks are the devil and thus deciding the correct action is to not support the club.

You don't like him because of who he is and what he might do rather than what he has done. That's a fair assessment isn't it?

You are irritated the club isn't sold yet, which is fair, however blaming broughton defies all logic. Could you sell a club of that size when the current owners want ridiculous sums for it? No. Are you privvy to all information inside the ground? No. You are basing your anger towards a man who is under a lot of stress from a lot of people in a no win situation. Chelsea fan or not its liable to claim hes not trying his best. We don't know whats going on and i doubt we ever will.

I want him gone as he is arrogant, petty and clearly sees Liverpool fans as peasants. They pay his fucking wages for at least one day a week anyway. I am concerned he doesn't give a fuck about the club or its fans and has indicated that he contributed to a major decision which was arrived in part to appease the media who don't like us anyway. So far he has yet to show he has our best interests at heart. That's my stance.
