It was only when you started spouting your agenda ridden bullshit that posters began to have a go at you. They asked for evidence for your assumptions and you couldn't back it up.

I have spoken for myself here, I have developed my own thoughts. Don't act like you're some sort of revolutionary free thinker, because you're not. There's about 40,000 other morons over on RAWK, which is where I suspect you spend most of your time anyway, who are just like you.

You and others, from RAWK mostly as far as I can tell, are becoming a growing and worrying trend. I'm still in my early twenties, so don't know too much about how Liverpool fans conduct themselves in earlier generations, but I'm sure that us 'knowledgable' fans didn't turn to the bigotry and xenophobic actions of burning another nations flag. In addition to this I doubt older Liverpool fans turned on past legends who speak their mind, rightfully, about a failed outgoing manager. They deserve better than idiots on the internet shouting them down and tarnishing their legacy. I was disgusted with RAWK about what they said about Aldridge, Ronnie Whelan et al. It's shameful and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with, and alienated from the club I love because of a growing band of morons.

What we're left with at the moment are militant fans misplacing their faith and efforts and depicting our club as a joke. Designing SOS shirts? Give me a fucking break. How exactly does that help the club? The owners are being demonised, rightly, but Broughton has been in the job two minutes and you're beating him with the same stick as them. Why? What's he done? You've even construed a fantastical opinion about the undertone of his email. He shouldn't give these people, people like you, the time of day by replying. He hasn't sold our best players. He hasn't thrown our club down the toilet. None of that yet. So reserve judgement until then. Don't make out like he's calling us all cunts from behind his desk when there is no evidence in the slightest of that. You're probably just upset because Rafa's gone and you're looking for somebody to blame, just like everybody else. Instead, of destroying the tiny amount of harmony at LFC left, why not get behind the team, behind the players, behind the legends, behind the club and look to better times and improve the situation?

That is why I posted. It's obvious that RAWK is the place for you. The EVIDENCE (a concept you're obviously not familiar with) in this thread proves you're in a minority and your thoughts and views aren't too respected here. Especially when you resort to the childish antics you have done. I don't see why you'd want to stay here.

And no, it's nothing to do with anybody having a different opinion to me, it's what these people do because of their opinions and what they're doing to my club. I have disagreements with spider-neil, for example, but I can respect his opinion because he isn't agenda driven and at least backs up any of his opinions without inanely chatting shite. I respect his opinions without sharing them. The SOS and RAWK, however are a different matter. They're directly damaging the club with their actions.

In answer to your question about what us old gits did in times past.....Nothing , nada, Zilch.
We didn't have an opinion the club did what the club did and the people who ran the club did what they wanted to do, if people turned up they turned up. It was not our place to have an opinion on what they did that was thier business, they ran, we supported.
In general things worked fine.
However we are in an age of information technology and everyone is a fucking expert, and everyone thinks they have a valid opinion that should be heard, and everyone thinks that we should be privvy to every little thing that goes on inside the club, and if they don't know they make it up or hang on the words of people that purport to be in-the-know.
Maybe it will turn out shitty, maybe it won't, but one thing is certain we can't judge Broughton on what he has or has not done in the time he has been with us.

It's not a contrary opinion, it's an opinion that is ambivalent to fact.

Go and find out who (legally )has the powers to do certain things, what their responsibilities are as governed by the Companies Acts. etc etc Have a look at the Premier League rules too while your at it.

So at least then you know what's possible and probable before you go around throwing accusations around.
