British Manager for LFC

Why does Oliveira always turn up in those lists? Weird.

Anyone think we might be able to tempt Van Gaal away from Bayern? If he wins the double there, he might want to leave on a high.

Do you have a clip of the last minute winner you scored Ryan?

Would like to analyze the goal please.

Wasn't last minute, and no.

There are photos on the web I'm sure.

Why does nobody rate Harry Redknapp? Every team he touches has a golden run. His work at Pompei was amazing and he has turned Spurs into a top four contender inside a year.

His record in the transfer market is second to none...especially on the budgets he's had to work with and he obviously has the ability to man-manage his star players. Chances are he'd have former captain and son Jamie join him as well.

I always thought he would be a great England manager too.

Is there some bad blood I'm unaware of?
Every club he managed was left with huge financial difficulties. Bournemouth, Southampton and Pompey have all been in administration. And West Ham weren't in great nick either.

Hahahahaha. That's quality.

At some point soon they'll insist on dressing room cameras in the Premiership as part of the tv deal. Especially if ESPN have anything to do with it, as they got it in the US, I think it's basketball they used the tv rights deal to lever it in.
ESPN have the right to the FA Cup apparently and are pushing for that sort of thing in it.

At least most of that would be in place for him before he got here this time

I want Deschamps.

If the yanks are still in, they'll employ someone who does what he's told, a la Klinsmann.

Well, i was more referencing Rafa wanting this complete control thing, and if they're still here, it's highly unlikely they'll let that happen again.

Of course, everyone is making the assumption Rafa is going - which is nowhere near a foregone conclusion.

New owners? Pumping billions into the club, stadium, and squad? Who like what he's done? And are happy for it to continue? And will keep Gerrard and Torres?

Cos if all those things aren't done; Rafa will go.

No, I think the opposite. I don't think we'll get new owners soon. That's what's niggling me. I think, unless Benitez wants to leave and/or we get new owners I think he might stay.

I'm so nervous about this summer. Full of hope and expectation that something may happen to pull us out of our mire but I also have the dread feeling we're on a very precarious and slippery slope now.

If he doesn't hear what he wants to hear from Broughton whenever they're meeting over the next few days, then I think he'll walk.
I just don't see that lads. The worry for me was always that our current owners keep our club and use it's assets to cover their debt. Now they have agreed to sell our future is much brighter. We are Liverpool football club. One of the top 10 teams in world football, and probably the 4th most marketable club in the world. We have 3 of the best players in the world in their position and a fanbase the envy of almost every other team.
We are extremely investable.

Given what's happened to the club over the last few years, there is little reason for anyone to feel anything other than dread.

Of course we'd all love for a vastly wealthy and benevolent owner to ride in on a red & white horse with oodles of cash for players and a a new stadium, but I don't feel too optimistic.

Well you'd think so but, if that's the case, I often wonder how the fuck we ended up with those two twats in charge. You're right - we should be a draw - but we need to be an attractive draw for the right buyers.
