Bring on the Scum

I had a dream last night and I never dream about football. In the dream I got a latest score update on my phone, and it told me we'd taken the lead through a de Gea own goal.

Make of it what you will.

I think with all these dreams - there are too many people anticipating this game and perhaps a little too worried. It is another game that we must win, and I think we will win this time. I just hope the players are up for the challenge, I feel very confident we can do it - I was really encouraged like many of the way we attacked Arsenal - in creating mayhem in the final third of the opposition box, and hopefully we can do the same again but be more aware of our defensive duties.

If we think about it - there has been a change in the team since the West Ham game which has now meant that the games we have played since - we have dominated with the ball, and got numbers into the box, we have played like we did against Man City both against Stoke, and Arsenal. Clearly the next lesson Klopp will instill in the team is going to focus on their defensive duties. So fingers crossed we may witness a "COMPLETE" first-class performance from our team both in attack and defense.

So you don't think these dreams are all going to come true?

No - if a dream is based on something you have been worrying about or thinking about too much then the most likely cause is that it is your brain just playing games. Now if someone who has no interest in football had a dream about this game - then I would be interested in it as could have meaning.

By the way - you did not see any of players pull up with hammy in your dream did you ?

Would be fantastic if the 'No update on Sturridge, etc' was all a ruse and he was fit and ready for United.

The benefit of being a cripple is no one has prepared to face you.

Whenever I dream about a game ( on the night before ) the result is always the opposite.

Unless it's a draw or course.

If I dream about the game on Saturday night I will keep you posted

We are winning the league.

Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia and Michael Carrick ruled out. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Phil Jones doubtful.

Leaving to fly to Huangshan Mountain in an hour so I'm going to miss one this since I'll be photographing sunrises, sunsets, snowscapes and hopefully the Sea of Clouds for the next 4 days ! Fingers crossed I can still get some reception to follow the match on 6CM 🙁

I can count on one hand the games I haven't watched live in the last decade.

I'd swap watching half the remaining games this season to do that dude, enjoy!

I dreamed about the one of the Merseyside Cup Finals the night before. In my dream we won 2-1 with goals from Rushie and Craig Johnston. On the day we won 3-1 with two goals from Rushie sandwiching a goal by Craig Johnston.

Haven't had a dream about tomorrow's game unfortunately. Not yet anyway.

Cheers Jon ! At the bottom of the mountain tonight and up to 1,650m tomorrow. Some snow tonight which is what I was praying for - but not as much as I hoped. We'll see if it's enough when I get up there. Pity I had to bring my plans forward though as some 50cms forecast over next Thurs/Friday. Rats !
There's some really cool areas on this, supposedly the most mysterious and beautiful mountain in China - though far far far from the highest range of course. Google Images : Huangshan Mountain, Carp's Back ... 2m wide walk with 1,000m drop offs on both sides ! There's also a 10" wide ledge over huge drop offs - you inch along it with a carabiner snapped to the cable drilled into the face - you can find videos of that on Youtube. It's a gorgeous mountain.
