Boxing please

If his Achilles was still fucked he owes a refund to every person who paid to watch it.

Well played to bell end for beating him again.

Haye is done.

Lomachenko comes back off the canvas to KO Linares in the 10th with a vicious body shot.

That was a fun fight.

Lomachenko is next level. I've never seen footwork and movement like it, and I mean ever. He could be more accurate, and have more power (even though he's obviously already got great power). But his footwork and movement is the best I've ever seen. Ali and Mayweather were super elusive and difficult to hit, but Lomachenko moves like he's running at 60fps and he's watching everyopne else at 30fps.

I think you could make the argument that he's the most skilled boxer of all time. He really is that good.

IMO he beats Floyd at 135. Pacquiao in his prime vs Loma would have been a sensational fight - I'd lean towards Manny in that one.

As it stands though, there aren't too many fighters who can make an interesting fight with him. Linares was one of the few. Mikey Garcia is probably the only other guy.

Terence Crawford would be great, but he's moved up to 147, and is likely to be too big for Loma to challenge.

GGG masterclass with a vicious 2nd round KO.

Fodder fight for Golovkin. Not sure what he was doing fighting a 154 pounder who hadn't fought in 2 years. I think Golovkin's career is mostly over if he's not getting the rematch with Canelo.

Which really disappoints me. Golovkin should have ended his career establishing himself as a middleweight great, and then moved up to 168 to challenge someone like DeGale or Ramirez or Badou Jack (he'd have beaten them all btw).

Wade, Brook, Martirosyan were all pointless fights for him. He should have forced the Jacobs and Canelo fights at least 2 years ago, and then moved up to 168.

I don't think it is GGG's fault him taking these fights. Everyone knows that he is dangerous and would beat anyone within reason.

He had to take that fight. He would've already paid for his camp and needed to get some ring action. This is all down to Canelo. He failed the drugs test and Golovkin seems to be the one punished. Canelo still won't sign up for random testing and until that is done there will not be a rematch.

He will fight Billy Joe Saunders and have all the belts. From there he may just walk away from the sport.

Billy Joe Saunders has pulled out of his fight with Martin Murray due to a supposed hamstring injury.

Rumours are he’s really aiming for GGG or Canelo in September.

He’s been a right cunt making Murray pay for 2 camps to pull a fast one.

Whereabouts? If it's not in Canelo's back yard again, GGG should surely stop him this time and put matters beyond any doubt.

I'm not so sure anymore. Golovkin's now 36, and looks slower with each bout.

Canelo's a tit, but he's in his physical prime. He has grown huge, and obviously has a very good chin. Very underrated defensively as well. GGG won't have it easy knocking him out. If he does indeed want to do that, he'll have to go to the body a lot more to dry and get him to drop his guard.

Headhunting against Canelo isn't a great strategy as his head movement is very good, and he is very slippery off the ropes.

Good post, good points. Presumably GGG is still reasonably confident in his own prospects though, otherwise would he risk it?

Canelo looks too big for his height. I think GGG will let his fists go and catch Canelo with his slips to the right as he always did in the first fight.

Rocky Fielding could have waxed his back like. I've got a hairy back myself, but when. I go on my hollibobs it gets waxed.

This lad is showing his back on TV. Get it sorted FFS lad.

As for the boxing, The lad with mad name Zeuge is doing a bit better in this early couple of rounds.

I’ve got it 2-1 zeuge with Rocky having the third.

Away in Germany it means he’s 3-0 down.

Fielding battering him there for a good couple of minutes. Took him by surprise with that power I think.

He'd been very controlled until that point by defo took a fair few decent punches that round.

Great round there from fielding. He’s hurt him now. The ref needs to stop the holding earlier.

Once the third round started it was all rocky. Just too big and too strong.

Zeuge said pre fight he hasn’t seen much of fielding but will just do as his trainer says. Poorly prepared and well beaten in the end.

Whyte hits Parker with a solid body shot in the second. That's a bruised rib or two. Clashed heads.

Whyte goes down to a knee & is given a standing count.

Parker clearly the better fighter but as a brawl it’s whytes fight.

I think Parker will be stronger as it goes on.
