Boxing please

Wonder if he's still calling out Mayweather, and looking at Pacquiao and Canelo as stepping stones to him

He definitely wants the Pacquiao fight, but I hope for his sake Canelo's punch has knocked some sense into his head about taking on Mayweather.

How the little gimp can look at Canelo and Pacquiao as stepping stones to Mayweather is beyond me, he's not in the same league as those 2, as his iron chin proved on Saturday night.

Still, you have to respect him a little bit for showing up. Most other boxers get rich slowly over time by carefully managing their careers and building up their own undeserved hype. Khan has got rich quickly, but by being prepared to have the shit knocked out of him in every fight he takes.

He's like the living embodiment of that Top Gun quote "Your ego's writing cheques your body can't cash".

Anyone going to watch David Hayes vs
Arnold Gjergjaj tonight? Never heard of the other fella.

It's on free-to-air in the UK, on the Dave channel from 8pm.

I'll be watching although the ring walks and intros will be longer than the fight itself; reckon no more than 2 rounds for a Haye win by KO.

If Haye thinks he's capable of a world title he needs to jump up in class quite significantly given age is against him. I know he's scheduled to fight Shannon Briggs next but that just seems more side show than anything else

Haye in the first at 3/1 seems like easy money. This and his last fight seem more like he's getting back in the habit of training and a fight night rather than the actual opponent. I still think he's deluded thinking he came become HW champion of the world.

In other news Canelo has side stepped GGG giving him the WBC belt and $1 million in the process.

Then there is Mayweather offering McGregor $50 million for a fight. Seriously, that is one of the most daft things I've heard.

Just watching the final eliminator for AJ's title. Parker is likely to win but he doesn't look anything special; decent jab but pretty poor defence and he's looked bollocksed since the 6th round

As expected that was shit. Haye knocked the guy down without really hitting him. Four times. Haye then went on to say them shots would put down Wilder and Joshua.

The thing about them two fighters is they will hit back. And hit hard.

Anticipated shite opponent for Haye and inevitable outcome. However the shite opponent of the night award has to go to the abomination of a "heavyweight" that Shannon Briggs was up against; the guy looked like a skinny fat dude they'd dragged out of a boozer!

Yeah, Bellew always looks so awkward to me but he won that well despite getting knocked over (including full backflip!), leaving himself wide open and at least half his punches missing by miles
