bollocks. roy is just inadequate regardless of squad

The fat waster has to take account for his uber shite signings, but we should still expect to defeat cannon fodder like Blackpool with that team we fielded today.

would you all being screaming for kennys head if he had been appointed cos i dont think the results would have been that different. blame the players not the roy

88th Minute when he brought Maxi on, 88th fucking minute, when we were losing to Blackpool at Anfield. Roy can fuck off

I can't even find a sentence that I can agree with in there. Roy's had the chance to change things round. Players have gone and come in. Your anti-Rafaism is clouding yur judgement.

As far as I remember Benitez tried to bring Kuyt and Lucas with him, but we refused....
[/quote]

maybe thats cos we'd have been left with no midfield. we dont eactly have the cash to go out and buy new players

"that team we fielded today" - sure, just cos we're liverpool. dont live in the past. look at the players ability and performances on the park. we've been in steady decline for a long while. wake up.

roy maybe suspect tactically but its not the first time we've lost to team we're expected to walk over.
i think all this roy out bollocks is ott. any new manager coming in will need to make wholesale changes and with out current ownership problems thats gonna be difficult.

Benitez, who guided Liverpool to Champions League glory in 2005, told Irish newspaper the Sunday Independent: "I was very clear that when I left we had a better squad than we had in the past, and a better team.

"We knew we had to bring in better players.

"We left a good team, a very good team. A lot of people are talking about the legacy but the legacy is fantastic.

"When I left the club, (Javier) Mascherano, (Yossi) Benayoun and (Albert) Riera were there, along with Carra [Jamie Carragher], (Steven) Gerrard, (Jay) Spearing, (Stephen) Darby, (Emiliano) Insua, (Diego) Cavalieri and (Jonjo) Shelvey.

"They cannot talk about legacy when (Christian) Purslow [managing director] and Hodgson signed seven players. They have already changed the squad."

Benitez admits that the ongoing off-field issues at Liverpool, regarding the club's ownership, forced him out and will continue to make life difficult for whoever occupies the Anfield hot-seat.

He added: "It was a long time, it wasn't just one thing. The feeling was that something was wrong, we couldn't do what we wanted to do.

"We were preparing the signings and the sales but we could see that we have some targets and we didn't do it."

Exactly. Very odd comment. Rafa should forget about what people are saying about him regarding Liverpool and worry about what people are saying about him regarding Inter.
