It's like everyone on here forgets that we are shit before the game and then is surprised to be reminded of our sorry state of affairs.
Yea, we are shit, that's the premise. Without Gerrard we are desperately shit, but I've actually found some cause for optimism so far, especially the involvement of Torres, the wider style of play etc. It's the execution that has been poor, from all the names being mentioned, but the plan is correct.
Meireles has looked to make a through ball ball early again and again and has cocked it up repeatedly, but it's better than making a sideways pass, and we are getting into the correct positions.
FK now for us Jova looks to be taking it, but Mereiles instead floats a cross which leads to a corner.
