Is it not over yet?

There's a bit about how George Soros was witnessed wiping his arse on forty thousand military ballots and then I think they'll finish up

I'm not a US citizen, not a lawyer, never argued anything related to US law, know nothing of their court rules and procedures, the only time I've read their constitution is in a museum exhibit, but even then with just 30 minutes to read the court filings ahead of the hearing, I could have turned up won it for Big D with relative ease. It was literally not possible to lose the pennsylvania case, fuck this outed fucking paedophile cunt.

Holy fucking christ. They're just out to siphon as much of Big D's money as they can put their grubby little nonce hands on.

This is a galactically stupid reason to decide a president on. I'm at a loss that people seem to be proud of it, singing it, signalling it like a virtue. I knew the rest of the world was dumb compared to me, but holy fuck.

Dantes - I have a UK passport and I live in Australia.

I don’t get a say on who the next President of the US is - so I can think what I want.

What I think has zero influence on what happens.

Is the penny finally dropping that Trumps full of shit?

I should have said I was referring to the woke democrat voters in the US who use that reasoning which you put into a succinct sentence. Still, if you wanted to have a say in the election nothing was stopping you from sending in a vote. A piece of A4 paper with "my vote" scrawled over the stop and something resembling an X anywhere on the page would have sufficed.

I could not care less what he is full of. What mattered were his tax and trade policies, which now will never come to pass. So failing those, the only thing that matters is getting past at least one motion to dismiss and making the court exercise its judgement to determine the outcome of an election for a state, or even just a precinct, even if they uphold the original count they just need to set the precedent for future. If that never comes to pass, rest assured I'll get over it in a second, perhaps a minute if I'm distracted doing other things.

JOINT STATEMENT FROM ELECTIONS INFRASTRUCTURE GOVERNMENT COORDINATING COUNCIL & THE ELECTION INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR COORDINATING EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES
Original release date: November 12, 2020
WASHINGTON – The members of Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council (GCC) Executive Committee – Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Assistant Director Bob Kolasky, U.S. Election Assistance Commission Chair Benjamin Hovland, National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) President Maggie Toulouse Oliver, National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) President Lori Augino, and Escambia County (Florida) Supervisor of Elections David Stafford – and the members of the Election Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Council (SCC) – Chair Brian Hancock (Unisyn Voting Solutions), Vice Chair Sam Derheimer (Hart InterCivic), Chris Wlaschin (Election Systems & Software), Ericka Haas (Electronic Registration Information Center), and Maria Bianchi (Democracy Works) - released the following statement:

“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history. Right now, across the country, election officials are reviewing and double checking the entire election process prior to finalizing the result.

“When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary. This is an added benefit for security and resilience. This process allows for the identification and correction of any mistakes or errors. There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.

“Other security measures like pre-election testing, state certification of voting equipment, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) certification of voting equipment help to build additional confidence in the voting systems used in 2020.

“While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too. When you have questions, turn to elections officials as trusted voices as they administer elections.”

You see it's this shit that has the world in a downward spiral to utter destruction, war and the end of civilisation (do I sound like ross and Dantes yet)?

Are taxes and trade policies of more importance than global warming, protection of wildlife and nature and protecting human life? All of which Trump has treated as if he were the devil incarnate ! Clearly not in your mind or those of his oil & coal buddies.

Complete and utter coward.

Donald Trump has increasingly receded from sight, even going dark on Twitter Tuesday after GOP plaintiffs dropped lawsuits challenging the election results in key states and allies in Congress acknowledged Biden’s victory.

After tweeting or retweeting 40 times on Monday, including numerous false claims that he won the election despite his decisive loss to Biden, Trump went uncharacteristically silent on social media Tuesday.
Trump also has yet another empty public schedule on Tuesday despite the multiple public health and economic crises currently facing the country, and he has only made public remarks once in the 10 days since the election was called for Biden.

The silence coincides with a sudden flood of recognition for Biden from several of Trump’s key Senate allies, with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) calling Biden “president-elect” and Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) stating it’s “increasingly unlikely” Trump will prevail.
“I have every confidence that come January 20, we’re gonna inaugurate a president and I think it will probably be Joe Biden,” said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), while Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said “it looks like it will be President Biden.”
Trump’s legal efforts to overcome the result have been largely unsuccessful, with the GOP dropping lawsuits in four states as the Trump campaign faces staffing upheaval in its Pennsylvania suit and admitting its Arizona case wouldn’t change the result.

  • President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he had fired Chris Krebs, the head of the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Trump announced Krebs' firing in a series of tweets, singling out a recent statement he made about election security.
  • Krebs was instrumental in protecting US elections from domestic and foreign interference and enjoyed broad bipartisan support as the head of CISA, which was created in 2018.
  • Krebs spearheaded the DHS's robust effort to combat many of Trump's election-related conspiracies involving voter fraud, election fraud, and voting by mail.
  • He also appeared in a pre-election video with top US law enforcement and counterintelligence officials to reassure Americans of a free and fair election, and remind them that it was safe to vote by mail.
  • In recent days, Krebs told multiple associates that he expected Trump to fire him, Reuters reported.
Just a few hours before he was fired, Krebs took to Twitter to rebut Trump and other Republicans' claims that election infrastructure was tampered with.
"ICYMI: On allegations that election systems were manipulated, 59 election security experts all agree, 'in every case of which we are aware, these claims either have been unsubstantiated or are technically incoherent,'" Krebs tweeted.
Last week, CISA announced that there was "no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised," contradicting Trump's false and unsubstantiated claims about election fraud.

CISA was created in 2018, and as its leader, Krebs was instrumental in protecting US elections from outside interference, whether it was domestic or foreign, and he enjoyed broad bipartisan support. That said, his firing wasn't entirely unexpected; Reuters reported earlier this month that Krebs had told multiple people he anticipated being fired by the White House.
In the days and weeks before his firing, Krebs spearheaded the DHS's robust effort to combat many of Trump's election-related conspiracies involving voter fraud, election fraud, and voting by mail.
Krebs managed the DHS's "Rumor Control" website which defended the federal government's efforts to protect the integrity of the election and struck down misinformation about canvassing and auditing, voter registration, ballot-counting measures, and the overall electoral process.
He also used his personal Twitter account, with the handle @CISAKrebs, to frequently post "Rumor Control Updates" and retweet news reports debunking misinformation and conspiracy theories from Trumpworld alleging that the election was "rigged" against the president.

In the end the 2020 election was among the safest and most secure because of the use of paper ballots and voting machines with verifiable paper trails.
Paul Nakasone, the director of the National Security Agency, also said there was less foreign election interference this year compared to 2018, and the Washington Post reported on Tuesday that US Cyber Command took a number of steps to deter malicious actors, like Russian military hackers, from being able to meddle in the election.

If we had established that a few weeks ago I and my cat would have made sure Biden won by more of a landslide.

My cat hates Trump too.

If I were Trump - I’d be trying to get as much golf in as possible before he gets banged up.

Playing the back 9 with Bubba & pals at San Quentin will be a bit different than Trump’s used to.

I've enjoyed the last couple of weeks (whilst banged up myself in quarantine and sod all else to do) so much. Great fun. Can't wait for the next phase to begin once presidential protection is lifted ... the accusations, investigations, disclosures and trials. Hopefully Ivanka and sons get some too. Schadenfreude heaven.

Reading more on the Penn 5-2 decision (which was actually 7-0 on the core judgment, only 5-2 because two judges thought the process now moot since the ballot processing is nearly complete).

Trump & Giuliani thrashed again and again and again ...

-------
All seven justices disagreed with the Trump campaign's suspicions of fraud and legal arguments aiming throw out potentially thousands of votes after the fact.
The chief justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Republican Thomas Saylor, wrote that the Trump campaign's apparent aim to throw out votes would be disenfranchisement. Saylor wrote in his dissent that he "fail[ed] to see that there is a real issue here."

He pointed out that issues over how an election is administered could largely be addressed by courts before the election, and even by trial courts early during ballot counting -- not well after, as the Trump campaign has tried to do. "There have been, and will always be, some localized irregularities," Saylor wrote of elections. "This is why courts are open throughout the election cycle, as here, to remedy these just as quickly as possible. It is also one of the reasons why we have a Commonwealth Court, with expertise in election matters, and organized to act expeditiously via single-judge consideration. ...

Short of demonstrated fraud, the notion that presumptively valid ballots cast by the Pennsylvania electorate would be disregarded based on isolated procedural irregularities that have been redressed -- thus disenfranchising potentially thousands of voters -- is misguided."
Saylor and another justice, Sallie Updike Mundy, split with the rest of the court because they believed the case was now moot since ballot processing in Philadelphia is nearly complete, according to Saylor's dissent.

So according to @dantes, "big D" is a genius, but somehow in the biggest political fight of his life the only people remaining at his side are obvious crooks and bumbling idiots like Giuliani. When will it finally dawn that the reason only the bottom of the barrel work for "big D" is that he is the biggest crook and idiot of them all? And that's the guy and the A-team you thought were going to outmaneuver and out-negotiate China? LOL.

This twitter thread giving a blow by blow account of Rudy's calamitous performance in court will probably amuse even Dantes and Ross. Perhaps especially Dantes and Ross:

This is basically Rudy, who appears to have had no idea of procedure, and the local lawyer they hired seemed to have been as terrible as him. The judge seems to have been extremely patient with them.

According to your imagination, you think dantes thinks he is a genius.

Somehow the judge offered to give him leave to amend the complaint. The existing complaint was perfectly adequate, had he simply pleaded the procedural flaws with the election and cited some case law. That's getting binned, and his new complaint will be based upon fraud, virtually impossible to prove in a pre-trial hearing, especially when you are bringing the case in their version of an administrative court rather than a criminal court.

Tax and trade policies are things which substantively alter the economy, wealthy economies alter the environment for the better, poor economies can't afford that luxury. Your climate policies do nothing but send thoughts and prayers to the environment.

What utter bollocks. All powerful economies do is rape and pillage global natural resources to feed their greed. And the USA, for likely the past century, had been the worst even though far from being alone.

The problem was that Guliani was attempting to argue (if argue can applied to his shambolic incoherent ranting) for something that wasn't part of the filed complaint.
