Glenn Greenwald resigned over being censored when trying to write about Biden.
You might remember Greenwald being the journalist that covered the conspiracy theory espoused by Edward Snowden that the NSA were secretly tracking everything going on in the digital world. You might or might not know that a US Court recently eventually decided that Snowden was in fact 100% correct.
I find in absolutely amazing that otherwise smart individuals lack the curiosity and common sense to see exactly what is going on at present. (Don't worry Hansern that doesn't include you)

That’s a very long article that basically says - “there’s no proof Joe Biden did anything, but enough evidence to suggest he should be asked questions about it - and isn’t it horrible that the press aren’t asking questions”.
So basically.... the scandal is that main stream, centrist or even left leaning press are given they’re preferred candidate as easy ride so as the opposition candidate doesn’t get elected.
In other words - the non-Murdoch owned press are employing the same tactics the Murdoch press have used since forever... and those snowflake right wingers are all upset.
I would have been more interested if it was a conspiracy led by the GOP to leave the Democrats to sort out catastrophic mess left by Trump, so as they can blame the Democrats for everything and hold power for the next 25 years.
Or that it’s Kamal Harris that’s behind it all - and as soon as Biden’s elected, she’ll nobble him and take over.
But nah.... everyone (other than Dantes) with half a brain cell just hates Trump, including the media.

So you’re saying that trump isn’t totally corrupt. Hasn’t bankrupted 7 times. Won’t hand over his taxes because of an audit (as opposed to owing vast sums of money to Russia and or China). Doesn’t employ his daughter and son in law who have no qualifications (and who didn’t use a personal phone and email server to conduct business). you’re saying that all this is preferential to joe Biden’s son maybe linking joe to a business deal. It’s like the other right wing loons trying to represent the climate change argument as a 50:50 toss up.
The difference is Trump pockets 50% from his "racist" trade/tax policies, and the other 50% goes to the american people. Even if he pockets 90%, the people still win. If he only pockets 10% he'd be a god damn saint. Creepy joe's "liberal" policies take 50% from the people, put 10% into his back pocket, and sends the other 40% to china/ukraine.
There is no comparison. A sadistic part of me would not mind Biden winning, I'll break out the popcorn and watch as the country gets raped to tears.
The significance of that article isn't to claim that Biden's more corrupt than Trump, but that the media (and the big internet platforms) are now so biased and corrupt that the very idea of fair elections is under threat.

They donated to his campaign. They're just protecting their investment. I don't donate to many charities myself, but when I do I also make sure I fly over to Africa and burn down schools and water treatment plants, to you know ensure that the charity I have invested in has plenty of work lined up.
I'm not sure the elections in the states are fair at all. The voter suppression is shocking for a start, people having to travel miles and wait in queues for hours to vote, they're not entitled to paid time off to vote. The gerrymandering in the states is rigged too, there's no way a third party will ever break into the system, it's all set up for the Dems and GoP.

What emails? She had them deleted using professional software in order to completely scrub them from the server. Nothing to see there. It was just personal stuff she no longer needed I guess. So the rest of the controversy was about her using her own mail server to handle classified information, which the FBI let her off with because she meant no harm.

Agreed. Greenwalds relationship with Tucker Carlson and his constant visits to that show over the last few years is a bit odd. He was there again last night talking about how the CIA is in bed with the left to destroy Trump. Quite the platform to chose for talking about his resignation and latest article.

I think the reason it's been dismissed by most is that the Hunter Biden stuff first appeared on a blog written by someone who doesn't exist with a AI created face and a made up back story, and was then spread to the right wing press via a qanon drop and waved around by Steve Bannon and his mates until the New York Post picked it up. Even if it's true, with all that history you'd probs want a bit more credibility adding before you spent any time looking at it.

The existence of the laptop has been confirmed, it has been confirmed by the CIA and FBI that there's no evidence it is Russian disinformation. People named in the email chains have confirmed the authenticity of the publicly leaked emails. Biden has boasted publicly about doing the things he is accused of doing for his own gain.
Regardless of where it started you either need to be so partisan that you don't want it to shake your faith in your candidate or you just lack the ability to join the dots.
