Big D vs Twitter

A Biden thread? Won’t that just be Dantes throwing pedo insults and Alex Jones unknown cousin, Ross, posting about servers in Frankfurt and Italian professors.

So the same as this thread.

This one can continue to talk about how much of a loser Trump is and what he gets up to post president, maybe he'll face court etc
The other one can be how lame Biden is and how long he has to live when he catches Covid

Dantes won’t - he won’t have access to the internet while he’s serving his sentence - unless he’s manages to sneak a mobile phone in, up his arse.

I fear that, after the site dies following the game on Friday, there’ll be no one left to write letters of thoughts and prayers to him and keep his spirits up as he does his hard time.

“An October 2020 Gallup survey found 56 percent of Americans said they were better off during a pandemic than four years prior.”

Hahahahaha...
Was this white house blog post written by Trump himself?

It's a list of facts. Reminiscent of the list Rafa read out, before everyone laughed at him too, then fired him, and opted for Woy instead. Then a few years later the facts turned out to be completely true, and Woy turned out to be the cause of an incurable eye twitch.

A massive improvement.
I think it might be too early to say. Joe Biden isn't a solution to anything and could well be just as disastrous for the US (and its victims) as Trump has been, if not more so.

Don't get me wrong, it's never a good thing to have a white supremacist in power, and it's been terrifying to watch Trump bring right wing extremism back into the mainstream. But sometimes extremism can provide the catalyst for meaningful change. I suspect Joe Biden will placate people just enough to let him get on with neo-liberal business as usual. And with that will go any chance of something different.

Change will come in America, for better or for worse, but not with Biden. He is just a placeholder.
But thank fuck the complete lunatic is gone.

Agreed.

That's one thing Trump did. He got people angry and interested in politricks (and change).

To his credit, he also didn't start any unnecessary wars.

With Biden, we'll see whether he'll rock folk back to sleep again and (re)start bombing brown people again.

There was a lot of beautifully worded claptrap talk in this inauguration. But we'll see if there's any actual meaningful action behind these words.

Is it done?
did anyone try to shoot him?

Re @Delinquent and @ibromurph agree with the comments.
Let's see how Biden gets on, I'm not confident at all. He'll get bullied by the various organisations to turn things back to the good old days.

The way american party politics work, I doubt the republican party is somehow in the wilderness.

Break down each group of peoples opinions and there is lots of consensus and broad agreement on all sorts of issues.

But, that's not how it is, it's sectarian, and increasingly so. Then, the entire machinery of party politics benefits Republicans at a local level. That's why it's such a loony bin.

I don't think Biden will be a great politician, the reason I think there will be a massive improvement is that Trump is a historically bad leader. All of the heads of all the agencies will run things better, because they have experience and weren't idiot loyalists, or people appointed specifically to undermine the very agencies they represent, and there won't be an idiot shitting his pants publicly while the few ones are trying to do good things.

Trump had no interest in governance, and had no managerial ability. It was all appearances.

He fucked up the fucking mail for godsake. I've never seen anything like it.

Quick thought also re those who've said about not starting a war etc..wonder how many countries might see Biden as a weak guy and easy target and try some shit.

Aside from the fact that Joe has got a 4 star military general as secretary of defense running the biggest and most well funded army in the world.

America have been under attack for a long time. Whether you believe Russia or China interfered in the election or not, Trumps blocking of Huawei etc, shows that countries have already been trying "some shit", probably long before Trump, during Trumps orange faced reign of ineptitude, and definitely after it. Not to mention his best buddy, little rocket man, continuing to develop weapons after Trumps intervention and announcing a new submarine launched missile only last week.

Also, Trump may not have officially started a war. But breaking the piece treaty with Iran and conducting a drone attack to assassinate one of their generals is absolutely a invitation to go to war. Whether it's justified or not is up for debate.
