Yeah, as Woland says, starting his own party will be the way forward for him I guess.
But I cant see him there in 2024, but lets see.
Should I ban @Rosco and @dantes.. ??Trump has been stirring this pot for months, even years. Fake news, going after the media, building up the election to be rigged if he didnt win and then not acknowledging that Biden won. Telling the Proud boys to stand by and be ready. Getting 250 mill $ from his supporters in the process.
Its solely on Trump. He, and maybe Dantes and Ross, might be so fucking stupid that they dont understand that Trump's rallys even before yesterdays event in Washington agitated his supporters and they acted on his behalf. Just listen to them being interviewed. "We just wanted to be a voice and be heard". Its like a cult, acting out a coup.
You know its bad when even Loeffler, who looks like a cross between Boris Johnson's twin and the Evil Ice Queen, says that she cant go ahead with the planned protests in the Senate after this.
And Trump wont come out of this as a billionaire. He's 400 mill $ in debt and has now alienated pretty much everyone who supports him financially.
He'll end up in prison and getting his salad tossed every day to the pleasure of everyone but him.
Lets hope Pence has the sense to invoke the 25th, and restore some of his own political legacy. Not a single politician or human being would want to be connected to what happened yesterday.
She didn't look like she was posing any threat. I mean he could have fired a warning shot. But I guess it is America.
President Trump said the decision "represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history."
Ex-military - what did she think would happen?
... that only black protesters get shot?
Stupid...but I don't think she deserved to be killed.
That said, I can see that if she had broken through, waves would have followed.
Isn't that what everyone here has said happens
As if Trump will be anywhere near the Presidential campaign for 2024. The Republican party will wash their hands off him. After yesterday, he fucked that up.
And it will be difficult to run a campaign from prison.
They hardly embraced him in 2016 though! The Repubkican Party itself will be glad to see the back of him and most actual Republican politicians didn't want him in the first place, but if he can maintain or even grow his support amongst voters then he may be able to get himself installed as the candidate again.
I suspect he probably won't though. Once he is actually a former President then at least some people will naturally lose interest in him. What happens to him in the long term will depend on what lengths he goes to to try to get attention.
I wonder which is more unpleasant, mace or tear gas? I've experienced a face full of tear gas, perhaps I need to experience some mace.
