Babel to Ajax?

babel is a dutch international striker that will likely go to the world cup so he is not as shit as some would have us believe.

the dutch 433 system is nothing like the compact crap that we play.

babel was not bought to play in a 4231 system - rafa stumbled across it and whilst it fit gerrard, torres, masch, alonso and we finally found a use for kuyt it was not suited for babel.

babel is finished at liverpool under rafa.

So he thrives in the amazing Dutch system, does he? Is this the same dated system that has seen the Netherlands disappoint at every major tournament for the last decade?

Hmmm, let's look at the facts, shall we?

Ryan Babel has scored 5 goals in 34 appearances for the international team - an average of 0.15 goals a game.

He has scored 9 goals in 61 league appearances for Liverpool - an average of, you guessed it, 0.15 goals a game.

You can bleat on about systems all you want but the fact of the matter is that Ryan Babel isn't good enough. He has been consistently found out at the highest level, regardless of the system he's played in. Do carry on making a twat of yourself though.

Babel was played out of position by Rafael and now when everything went wrong for Babel, Rafael wants to sell him for 5-6mil. Good job Rafael.

Because he can't be trusted in his favourite position down the middle or on either wing. As I said in a previous post, I believe that Babel hasn't shown the capabilities, right attitude and commitment in game situations and more than likely during training to merit a starting position in the team. Yes he has this raw talent... blah blah, but surely if he isn't starting, he should be trying to prove to Rafa that he is a good player and is worthy of a starting position, as I know I would be and I'm sure plenty of others would be too. However, I believe he isn't and is happy to pick up a nice pay cheque and mess around doing his rapping. Of course I may be wrong, but I just don't see how Rafa would ignore a potential talent like Babel without there being a deeper underlying problem.

Jesus Christ your on a fucking one man mission aren't you!! How about, oh im sorry Ryan I cant play you in you favoured position because A) Anytime I play you there your fucking Shit!! as you are in every other position I play you in and B) Theres a little case of Fernando Torres to displace.....how about give Rafa some credit for what he's done with Torres since he arrived, or is it to positive to noticed he'd signed him at all through your selective sight?
How can you blame Rafa for Ryan Babels extremely poor attitude and ability you (yes I used it yesterday and will continue to do so as long as you act like it) Bell End!!

Better off keeping him.

That 6m will only go toward paying off the Yank's debts.

I'd prefer to see that than Ryan Babel in a Liverpool shirt though.

It'll end up being an undisclosed fee.

The Special One would turn babel into a world beater.

No-one could turn Babel into a world-beater. Quite simply, he's not very good.
[/quote]

In a nutshell.

Yet, in another thread, you criticise Rafa for not playing him on the right-wing.

Ha, I said on here ages ago that Babel was Cisse without the wife-beating.

Yes, because it's the only place he looks decent.

that's not entirely true glock. Not once has babel put a shift in for the good of the team!! His attitude is atrocious and has whenever he has been played out of position played there like a sulking teenager. He is not good enough end of story
