AVB sacked

Levy looked like he could pull the trigger at the end of the game yesterday.
Wonder who they'll go for?

I feel bad for him ... He's a cocky man, but he's holds himself very well unlike that cocky twat at Chelsea.

His comments about the signings were very odd - you can tell he's not too happy ("I can't make it public" etc).

He needs to take a break - like Rafa did - find a good job to redefine his mojo.

It was when he tried to shift blame in the press conference yesterday.

Imagine you paid someone fuckloads to run something they were failing at and instead of saying they were having trouble and looking to improve they started to pick on other parts of the team. You'd have to get shut.

He a poisonous little cunt. The only bad thing about this is that he'll remain hugely wealthy and get another job next week.

Joke, I don't like AVB, but people further up Spurs are more to blame than this, that bellend Levy and Baldini are more accountable than AVB, you can't just sell your best player, buy a mismash of players and say, here you go. It's not championship manager ffs.

It's interesting because Levy's ego will dictate that he goes for a big name, but the best are tied up with the Champions League, so unless he gambles on a caretaker doing a Rafa-style job until the end of the season he's stuck.

Not surprised at all.

There's a total lack of effort in that Spurs side.

Yesterday they tried to play with a high line - like they did at City - and got humped again.

He had the best win percentage ever by a Spurs manager, 54%.
Levy and Baldini have to take their part of the blame for the signings. But he must have lost the dressing room, and he lost the fans aswell.

I don't agree that it's not his fault. Any dickhead can see he shouldn't play a high defensive line against quality counter attacking teams because his defence is dead slow.

If I can see that, any fucker can. He doesn't deserve any sympathy. He's massive fucking tool. I suppose the only thing you could point to is him having everything so easy all his life and thus believing his own hype.

He can fuck right off.

Someone new could come in and quite easily use the players they have to form almost a completely different team. The likes of Lamela, Eriksen, Defoe, Sigurdsson etc can call transform the shape of the team.

I'm not a fan of how easily managers are sacked these days though.

Yep, saw that on MOTD yesterday.
Despicable twat.

That is what I'm very worried about. I hope to god they snap up Jol.

Its obviously his fault. He's like a spoilt kid that sulks when things dont go his way.

But Baldini and Levy are just as much to blame in terms of selling Bale and buying 100 mill of attacking talent that can score a goal to save their lives.

It is also quite rare for new managers to come in to a team that isn't actually *that* far off where they want to be. Spurs will want Top 4, but i'm sure would actually in truth be content with Top 6. They are in the mix and we have seen this season that a couple of results either way can have big changes in the order at the top. I think they'll actually have a good chance of getting someone decent in, although I don't know exactly which names are available.

If they had waited until the Summer they would have had a greater chance of picking up an International Manager post World Cup.

I don't like the chap but I actually felt sorry for the grilling he was getting off that fat ignorant pig Shreeves in sky's post match interview.
They never would have asked a British manager the same questions.
Anyways second season syndrome affects shit loads of clubs.
But this kid is a spoofer.
He won the Portuguese league and Europa league with about 300 million worth of talent at his disposal.
I reckon he's gonna end up in eastern Europe for his next job if he's lucky.

Im totally gutted. i wanted him to stay because they could now actually get a good manager. Spurs have a very good squad, the only thing holding them back was AVB.

Gotta be Hiddink or Arry. Hiddink until the end of the season?

Spurs have been playing terrible though, but they were overachieving with monkey boy in the team.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them sniffing around Diego Simeone or Luis Enrique from Celta.

Why would Simeone leave a team in the last 16 of the champions league and also level on points with Barcelona domestically?
Methinks they are going to go down the Italian route here.
