I don't think we can rely on that lineup for too long, as Sturridge will never be fit for long periods, while Sakho also seems to be injured quite a lot.
We definitely need another top striker (Origi and Ings are not good enough to be our main strikers. At least no yet), and unless Lovren improves drastically, another top CB looks like a must.

BTW - has Clyne signed yet?

We nearly won the league with Aly Cissokho at LB, Moreno will be fine while we prioritise more urgent parts of the team.

How many of you have actually watched Illaramendi in action? Was it during his time at Madrid or Sociedad?

I just feel a lot of people on here want him because he looks like Xabi and is Spanish, yet don't know much about the player himself. I may be wrong?

But Emre Can is a CM and he would boss that midfield if given a chance.

In saying that, I watch quite a bit of la liga and when he played for Sociedad, he was a classy player so I'm all for it. Didn't play much at Madrid though so tough to know if he's regressed or not in his development.
