Wow, fire from the nostril! Did you take some chilli tapas for lunch? hahahaha,

I don't think he'd have come to us anyways so it's a little bit pointless looking back but yeah, with the benefit of hindsight he'd have been a top signing for us. Ah well.

Whilst it is pointless musing over "what ifs". Why don't you think we could have got him? Sometimes it's all about timing. If we'd have gone for him in the Summer of 08 we'd have got him easily for 15-8m.. instead we got Keane for 20m.

Forget about the what ifs....

I just wanna say he is a tidy little player. Good to watch and technically very good.

They wanted a ridiculous 20M+ fee in the summer, which no-one was willing to pay at the time and the reason he didn't get his move. I'm not sure we had the money in January and I remember reading something about him preferring London as far as England goes (maybe it was from a poster on here, not sure).

Prick or not I think he's very good.

Got creativity, unpredictable and makes the difficult things look ridiculously easy on a consistent basis. He also makes a bloody habit of scoring which is handy like.

I agree with this and everything he has said since makes me think he wishes we did.

We missed the boat and Arsenal landed themselves a bit of a bargain.

He was well worth the Robbie Keane money.

i think he is a cracking player, but he hasnt been at his best for a while. I doubt he would have come to us due to location more than anything, London has a bigger pull.

Its just a shame that Keane never worked out for us.

He's a genius...but he's been crap this year. Too busy crying. I dont think he's ever been fully committed to Arsenal

Welcome back. Stick around. (And rot in hell on Sunday!)

Yes he is. He's fastly becoming my favourite non LFC player in England.

Just fantastic to watch.

Haha, is it because I put in a notice not to discuss the 'what ifs' but rather the merit of the player save Dreamy from going into the blame game?

Apart for Fabrecas, I really enjoy Arshavin in the PL out of all the non LFC players. For us, it is Torres. GlenJo, Yossi, Masher and Stevie G of course.

I'd go along with that.

I quite like Defoe and Bullard too.

Bullard is sadly more injury prone than most I care to name. Defoe... still not there yet.

Berbetov is another for his fantastic touch. Essien is a giant.

Berbatov p*sses me off as he is sooooo lazy.

Essien I love watching too and I like Joe Cole too and always have.

Pity he plays for Chelsea.

Benitez would have mentioned pressing and tracking back and Arshavin would have laughed and hung up. And then leaned over to his hookah and bottle of Vodka....... Allegedly.
