I am proud cause he was our second best player today. Johnson was outstanding and if it weren't for him or N'gog we would have lost again today. Kuyt and Benayoun were aweful today. Riera today quickly shows how badly we need balance in our team and I would be willing to put a bet down that a young left footed left winger (even if its from our reserves or Angel Di Maria or Juan Mata or any signing of this ilk) would give us a better chance of finishing in the top 4. I'm embarrased to say the least. We have dominated games and somehow have failed to kill off the opposition. We are better than that but the results aren't showing that.

It's not something that we should condone but we have been getting the short end of the stick from referees. There's nothing we can do about it and Gerrard really got us out of jail. The game should have been over as a contest by then and we should have buried Brum but didn't.

Feck the injuries to Yossi and Riera. We are the most jinxed team in the Premiership. Melwood must resemble a hospital ward.

Becaus Drogba does it every fucking week and has done for years? There's a difference, he still cheated and I hope it doesn't become a habit, but I'm fucking sick of our players being pushovers and being nice, we needed the win, we deserved the win and for once luck went our way.

I loathe diving, but the league encourages it, because they refuse to implement simple, proven technology, that would address the situation, because they are conservative and stupid in responding to change.

I think you will find that there were a handful of us. Then there were a few who said he 'had a little something' that may see him being ok backup in the future. The rest were upset that he was getting chances before Nemeth and writing him off before he had played 10min.

I'm very proud of his performance, but not pleased with the dive. Would I have preferred to lose? No. I would like to see Rafa say something like "David was expecting contact and didn't think he could clear the challenge and still get to the ball. He wasn't looking for the dive, but he went down without contact in the end. It is something we have spoken about and he knows how to do better in these situations now."

On reflection, I don't think I like to see such blatant diving from Liverpool players, and Eggnog's was the most blatant I've seen for a while

However, the bigger issue is that in a must win game against a poor side at Anfield, we needed an ordinary young player to score, and then cheat, in order to secure a fucking draw
