HerrOnceaRed once claimed Mexes and Mancini were "world class", hence why whatever he says, it's safe to assume the opposite is true
Wonderful input twat.
Lol. Hes right though, i think i did say that. Although it was a while back.
Id still stick with Mexes he is a brilliant player. Mancini has gone backwards.

Re: Aquilani

I would say, its a bit creepy when a poster you've never heard of brings up some random remark you made years ago.
Nut.er.

:-/

Re: Aquilani

I think Mexes is a great player too, wouldn't look out of his depth in any of the top 4 in England.

Re: Aquilani

The Youtube vid looks great _ I want him.

And he celebrates with real passion (like Masher). I fucking love that in a player.

We were rumoured to be in for him once under Houllier weren't we?
Yup, him and Boumsong.

The Boumsong saga was odd. It was nailed on for us to sign him, until poor Jean Alain didn't feel loved enough. Needy cunt.

Re: Aquilani

According to the *** we're in for Villa with the Xabi money, Aquilani as back-up.

Speculative bollocks of course.

Re: Aquilani

According to another rag, we're after both.

15 mill for Aquilani
The rest of our money on Villa

I dont know if we have the money or how the team/tactics would look, but I want Villa..

Re: Aquilani

Villa is worth a lot more money than we have. Especially after we spunked the money in the biscuit tin on Ribery. When is he being unveiled by the way?
Christ just imagine if the arabs really were bankrolling us as has been rumoured.
Ribery, Villa and Aquilani.
Sigh.

Re: Aquilani

I know. Fuck all this, I donwanna be a rich man's plaything bollocks, I wanna super rich sugar daddy. It has to be better than having two greedy bastard yanks bleeding the club.

Re: Aquilani

if we buy villa we may as well forget aquiliani (sounds like an underwater superhero) and drop gerrard back into midfield.

Re: Aquilani

We would still need another top midfielder. When Gerrard gets injured we struggle as it is... with one less quality midfielder it'd be even worse.
Yup. Plus Gerrard can play wide right and give Kuyt a rest.

Re: Aquilani

villa is a bit special, anyone that can make torres look subdued has to be something very special indeed.

Redknapp and Gray won't like gerrard playing right...
Ha. Thats true

Ha, good point. I'm sure Rafa will consider this before picking him to play out there!

Johnson, Aquilani and Villa would be one hell of a summer. We can dream!
Even City would struggle to pull that one off.

They do have Craig Bellamy though.

Re: Aquilani

Quiffing here but De Rossi says it would be good for the player:

De Rossi believes it would be a good move for his team-mate but believes the Giallorossi would regret it.

"I don't know the details and I don't know if the deal is real," he added. "If it's as it's written in the papers, we will lose a great player.

"His many injuries have maybe meant that he's been forgotten about a bit, but I am sure that if he leaves we will regret it.

"He's a footballer with exceptional skill and above all he grew up in Roma's academy and has a love for this shirt that you cannot buy.

"But if you think about his career I think it would be a good opportunity, he would grow a lot by being close to the best midfielder in the world - Steven Gerrard."
