Loan deal, 5m in 2012 and Aqualani gets a 875k payoff.

Deal makes no sense, we don't get the money now and costs us money to allow Milan the privilege of having him play for them this season

LOL VERY TRUE

Reports out of Italy suggest that Alberto Aquilani is set to join AC Milan on loan, with £5m to be paid to Liverpool in June 2012 to outright purchase the player.

5 million....Italian clubs are out to fleece us.

Fuck off...

We may as well play him at our club to the end of his contract.

Milan do it again in the transfer market.

Offloading Kaka ... bringing in Ibra, Robinho, Boateng, Mexes, Thiago, Cassano ... now Aquilani.

And for 5M? What a laugh .. they played it smart. The realise they have all the power in this negotiation. 5M or let a player on 90k per week sit on your bench and piss away his Euro 2012 spot.

Worst signing we've probably made this cunt. Undoubted talent but never had the application or balls to play over here. The sicknote cunt has made it plainly clear that he doesn't want to be here and yet at the same time has held the club to ransom with his wage demands that prevent him moving on and us recovering a decent proportion of the outlay we laid out on this despicable useless cunt. Sooner he's gone the better, the gobshite.

Also whats the gaurantee, they would honor the option to purchase at 5mil.

Like Juve, they will also try to get an even more cut price deal the following year or propose another loan deal with option to purchase the next year.

How can we be so stupid to make the same mistakes again and again?

Giving Milan their replacement for Pirlo at a bargain basement price is pretty painful.

Awful, awful signing.

On the bright side however, at least this thread will finally die (unless some twat decides to resurrect it every time Aquilani has a good game).

Given the following i've actually started to hate Aquilani

He's a shithouse
Modo
Due to him we're going to get bent over by another Italian side
His agent

Hmmmmmm.......*wonders*

Alberto Aquilani’s agent has begun talks with Milan after owner Silvio Berlusconi approved the proposed swoop.

The Rossoneri chief was questioned about the Liverpool player last night and he seemed to OK an approach.

“Aquilani is an interesting player,” the Italian Prime Minister noted while attending the club’s 2-1 win over Juventus.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri also seems in favour of bringing in the man who spent last season on loan at Juventus.

“Aquilani is a player with great quality,” the former Cagliari boss noted. “He’d replace Andrea Pirlo in the squad.”

Pirlo left Milan in the summer for Juventus.

Franco Zavaglia, Aquilani’s representative, arrived at the club’s Via Turati headquarters this morning for negotiations.

It’s unclear whether the player will be signed outright or if he’ll be taken on loan with the option to buy next summer.

According to Sky Italy, we've agreed a loan with a 6 mill option. If he plays more than 25 games they HAVE to buy him.

that is the measure of how badly we want rid.

They still won't buy him. He'll be out on loan every year until his contract ends and we'll still be paying most of his wages.
