Fair enough. But to elaborate: Arsenal have the means to build a team much much better than the one they have. They choose not to. It's a waste of an opportunity, and therefore gives us an opportunity to exploit.

I think Wenger want's better value. I think we will see them coming in hard the next couple of years.

I have another question and I'm not British so I might be wrong but wouldn't a comma help your signature dramatically?

"I owe my appreciation of the accruals concept, to accountancy"

No. A comma is more or less supposed to be used in the same place a pause would be taken by the speaker. No pause would be taken there.

I was split between Klippety Klopp and Roger Moore's eyebrow. Think I'm leaning towards Eyebrows . He's a cut above Teeth.

I want the big crazy German muthafucka. Carlo would be sound also. The fact it's looking like one or the other is pretty damn exciting actually.

Then we'd just need the Arabs. YNWA

I just don't care about the manager. I'd happily keep Rodgers if he was left doing nothing but the coaching and there was some proper infrastructure behind him (and over him) telling him what do to.

A bit like how certain team formations don't get the best out of players, I reckon that the current club structures mean that Liverpool aren't getting the best out of Rodgers.
That said, he seems to bear considerable responsibility for how those structures were put in place.

Yup that's the irony.

Managers are their own worst enemies.

RE Ancelotti strikes me as a manager that may need a lot of cash to make things work, what do others think ?

Possibly - he has managed expensive teams, with talented players. But then I think he may make something of us as our team and even the league is not that great at the moment.

I would be concerned though as he would want a decent transfer kitty, we would probably have to sell for that.. Though on the plus side he would attract big names..

Have you realized big names just attract a big fee but not necessarily guarantee a big performance?

Tough to tell - like Mourinho, he's always had very good environments to work with (good squads, money etc) ... I guess until you see him try with a weaker team (in one or both areas I mentioned), it's tough to tell with him (or Mourinho).

It's pointless now that Ancelotti has declared that he isn't interested but, I don't think he was the right man for the job.
Ancelotti is in a stage in his career where he doesn't need to rebuild teams. He's always, well at least since he first took on the Juventus job had the ability to sign top players. He won't have that luxury here.
I rate Ancelotti, don't get me wrong, but when it comes to building a team there are only about three managers out there that I really rate. One is quite obvious if you know me. The other ones are Klopp and Simeone.

Lets hope it's Klopp who was responsible for the building

I want Ancelotti but they're both exciting potential replacements

Perhaps he can sort out our shit defence given that he is Italian - that's got to be worth something right ?
