I never goaded you sir (I think your post originally talking about him mentioned your old man and said he'd be a good signing). I've always had a soft spot for Henderson, so I never bothered you about him!

Now Allen on the other hand worries me because - as Pesam said - he needs a specific system to highlight what he's good at and I don't believe he'll have that here. I feel bad for him - as he was so fucking good early on. Let's see if he can regain that form/belief in himself ... I don't think he'll be with us next year if he doesn't, especially if we're after M'Vila and other CMs.
 
Why is that every player you champion needs +5 years to settle Ryan?

Could you please suggest them in the future when they are about 15 instead of in their twenties

Nah - you have the wrong Wiz mate. I am almost positive I was never in the 'Henderson out' bandwagon. Definitely on the Lucas one mind until I saw him against City (sorry Pesam) and the half against Chelsea (Sorry again Pesam) live.

Ryan is the only person in living recent memory that ever backed Henderson to come good.

In his own head. Which must be massive. At least in cyberspace.

The only time I remember saying anything about Ryan/Henderson is that I said you were very high on him, and that was the only thing that gave me hope he'd be ok. If I goaded you, it probably was my alter ego Samuel. He's well vicious, and dresses up like Sakho.

I like him too, but I won't be there Jon/dave to add my considerable weight to the argument
 
Henderson has come good? he is still quite a way from coming good.

He has improved but that wasn't hard from that car crash of a first season.

Ever since we signed Allen i still don't know what hes meant to do or what the point of him as a footballer is, he just seems a totally pointless player, hes certainly no defensive midfielder and he doesn't look like an attacking player, if he is an attacking player hes a very poor one, no real creativity and very few assists and goals, to me it looks like we paid 15 million quid on someone to take the ball from our centre backs and pass it 10 yards either way to our proper players to make things happen.

If we really want to go places we need much better midfielders than Allen and Henderson, Allen i would get shot of asap, Henderson is ok to have as a squad player and occaisional starter especially if he does keep improving which he needs to do, his final ball in the attacking 3rd needs to improve a lot..
