All women's keepers are shit. I'd love to know the reason why. There must be a scientific explanation, something to do with having worse hand/eye coordination than men. Can't say that these days, though, can you?

It's weird what's happened to LFC's women's team. They started amazingly well, and then got shite really quickly. But, yes, female keepers are still AWFUL. The outfield players now seem good athletes, but the keepers only need a shot to loop a few inches over their heads and it's as if they can't jump, and they dive like toddlers.

Wonder if it would make sense to scout female volleyball players. They’re massive, jump very high and you’d imagine they’d be good at punching/slapping away crosses.
They’d be shit at football mind. But if Ming can play for a European giant for several seasons..

Gk is quite a specialist position.
It's quite frankly quite a shit position to play in, unless you get paid millions for it.

If I was a woman who could jump high, dive low, punch hard and had the reflexes of a cat, I'd play tennis or beach volleyball.

I've seen all over Twitter that Arsenal think they are getting Butland. This would be good for us, although I used to rate him i've started to feel he is a player on is only excelling because he faces a lot of shots. I don't think he's the top level keeper we would want. Surely the time is coming for us to truly break the bank on a keeper.

It's really, really hard to tell when he's playing for a side that has conceded an astonishing 53 goals so far this season, he's being peppered with shots and has the league's worst defence in front of him.
