Not that i'm advocating signing Benteke, but surely if the fee, which incidentally I think is a load of bullshit for the going rate of Lacazatte, is around 21m, That probably is accurate for a proven young striker in the league.
The second thing which I find a little silly is when people say if thats the fee then we should just go and sign that player. Maybe do try and then just get trumped by every other top team that can offer more wages/CL football.

Can we all just accept that we're not going to sign a player who is probably the most coveted striker in the world right now? It isn't going to happen.
If the world fucked up on Suarez, there IS a chance they will fuck up on Alexandre too.

If Lacazette is available, why isnt there a clamour of clubs trying to sign him? PSG paid £50m for a player that resembled psychopathic clown.They could easily afford £40m plus for Lacazette. Only last year did the threaten Barcelona that they would trigger Lionel Messi' s buy out clause.
