Is Roy hoping to turn fans against Agger or what is his purpose with those comments? He's the one not playing him in the first place and now he's bitching about him beeing sick - in the press? What kind of manager would do that in times of trouble aside from a terrible one?

I think he might have done, but even so this reminds me of Roy's comments after the derby about how the players should also be blamed, which were amazing, completely unprofessional and the clearest sign yet that this job is beyond him (and he knows it). Whether or not he has a point, in that case or in respect of Agger, it's completely unacceptable for him to make that point in the media. A manager can and should give his players a rollicking when they need it BUT ALWAYS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. You never, ever do it this way.

It's still 83 games more than Sami had played for us at his age mind.
He's obviously been too injured over the years but let's not kid ourselves here he's still a young player for the CB position and with the potential to become one of the very best.
If he's getting sold come January because of Roys dislike of him I'd be absolutely livid and everyone with love for Liverpool FC should be too. Even Mark.
