Just catching up on the thread. Johnson would be a decent signing. Tricky, direct has pace and can beat players.

His attitude is often questioned as he carries himself as a bit of a cocky prick. I'm okay with that.

On a side note. I remember you had a thread a few seasons ago having a go at him for giving Torres shit during a game. I think the general consensus at the time was who does he think he is, etc.

I remember it well. He had just signed for City and Torres had just got back from winning the Euros. I cant really remember the incident but i remember thinking 'Who the fuck does this prick think he is!'
And btw i still think hes a prick but hes proven in the last 4 years when given opportunities he is a cracking player.

Don't think any of us will mind if does the same thing to Torres wether he joins us or not. Good luck to him.

You never know Ryan - coz Newcastle have not spent that much and I don't think they are a poor club. But thats me being optimisitc as I personally think £13M is what he is actually worth - MAXIMUM.
 
I wouldn't bother if I was Newcastle. Strength in depth is nice but they already have 2 better strikers who work well together and his presence would just upset that.

Good point about Sinclair, he's been at seven, I repeat SEVEN, clubs since he left Chelsea and finally found a team that suits his style, has become an integral part of the side and was Swansea's main penalty taker aswell last season, but like a growing trend of young footballers, he seems to be lured to earn a fast buck rather than doing what's best for his career.

Hi All

For those of you who have watched Adam Johnson extensively, do you think he has a good range of passing ? I know its silly given that BR will only go for the passing type. But the youtube clips I have seen of him show him as being a dribbler, and scorer but what is his overall play like with the rest of the team ?
