No - it's not worth the courts time. The age of consent is their to protect the vulnerable. If the police started prosecuting consensual sex between two 15 year olds they would have to double their work force.

Even if the boy/girl was 17, I doubt they'd do anything, it's there to protect kids from perverted adults, like Adam Johnson.

Pretty much any legit messaging platform can with a search warrant, however without one its next to impossible to intercept the messages, which is pretty much the entire reason that witch Theresa May keeps harping on about a back door into the app.
