What a mockery inducing comment for a lawyer to make.
Yes, of course. One might say almost inevitably. Although interestingly, when I brought up this 'why us' phenomenon with my brother at the weekend, listing all of the improbable and unlikely scorers against Liverpool, the players who reserved their best (only) goals for us - Casiraghi, Vardy from outside the box, a fucking beachball, that twat from Fulham with the mask, Forlan, Jagielka, Silvestre, the list is endless - he seemed equally certain that it was an Everton curse, and listed an equally impressive bunch of unlikely non-entities and ill-fortune.
Mind you, they're not called Bitters for nothing
Did I ever say he was? I just wanted to wait for him to be proved guilty before condemning him, now that he has lets hope he gets sent down for a few years.
What about that Charlton Athletic div, Lispie or whatever his name was, scored a hat-trick against us and never scored again.
Not to mention the shitload of keepers that have had their one and only blinder against us.
We've seen enough similar cases in recent times where the case has been thrown out. So in retrospective it's right to wait until we know some level of facts before condemning. Its too easy to say in hindsight "it's obvious he was guilty". And I think the "paedo" jibe is one of the worst I've read on here, for what? For asking us to wait to hear the facts
As you say, let's hope he gets his just deserves. But this could have been one of those cases where it didn't get any further and we could make two assumptions from that:
Either way, for anyone involved in these cases, you've either got a figure who's relieved of all charges but forever viewed with suspicion, or someone's rightfully investigated and forever viewed with suspicion. Once an alleged paedo, always a paedo.
- There wasn't enough evidence.
- The prosecuting party is trying it on.
But like I say, it's easy gloating in hindsight, but anyone who would do that is just being a bellend, right? There's a 15 year old kid on the end of this who (if anyone wants to get moralistic about it), is the real victim who's barely had a second thought. Even if she's a 15 year old who's been really fucking stupid, she has a family who are as much the victims now. I know that's how I'd feel if it was my daughter.

Obviuosly feeling sorry for her, depends on whether she was 15 and 1 day or 15 and 364 days though. Do we what age she was exactly when it happened?
Christ you chat some shit, I said hes probably guilty but I'm going to wait until hes proven guilty before condemning him as its too easy to falsely accuse someone these days and get only select evidence online. There's nothing wrong with that, in fact it's an entirely logical stance to take, you're just dragging your agenda into yet another thread, give it a fucking rest.I'd rather be the bellend gloating about being right than the bellend ignoring the obvious all along, while making ridiculous posts and being wrong too.

If you have to explain it, it doesn't work.
All the best comedians do callbacks.
Smart audiences don't need explanations
