What a season Danny Ings is having so far. Deadly finisher.

11 league goals and it's only December. Just the incredible Vardy ahead of him, on 17.

Forgot to mention that I quite like Watford's Doucoure. He's got the lot – technique, physicality, mental strength. I could see him holding his own in our midfield.

I get what you're saying but I think we demand more from our midfielders today. Doucoure has many things in his locker but I think he's very limited in attack.

I've liked Doucoure for years, but I think we could have moved for him a couple of years ago. I dunno about him not offering much attacking. He has an absolutely cracking shot on him on his day. My worry about him would perhaps be whether he has the mobility to play our pressing game.

We'd have to pay an English premium and our midfield is congested as is.
It may look congested, but taking into consideration Ox's and Lallana constant inhljuries, Fabinho' current injury, Milner being used as our back up fb (and his age), it does not look that congested anymore.
It currently leaves us with Hendo, Gini, Milner and Keita.
We could definitely do with a talented midfielder with PL experience, to join them next season.
From what I've seen from him I believe he might develop into the next Maddison.

Oh you mean now in January? That would cost us even more since Norwich are in a relegation fight. I'd rather we sign a versatile defender that can play left back than Cantwell in that case.

If Brighton had better finishers, Pascal Gross would probably be near the top of the assist table

Grujic will play games next year too -

I've also been impressed by Buendia, attacking mid plays for Norwich. My only issue with him is fitness. Needs to lose a few lb's and improve his cardio.

I don't think he that bad attack wise, maybe his finishing isn't the greatest but you could say that about most of our current midfielders, and I thought he was one of the best players on the pitch when we played Watford, seemed to be everywhere. He looks further ahead than grujic that's for sure.

@King Binny - yes he has all these qualities, but to be in our team, he will need to do a lot more work, I noticed that that there was slightly too much waiting around now. I thought he could have come inside a bit more today in the early stages, before they were 2 nil down. That said, there are just certain players in this world where you need a true beast to deal with, this guys nemesis is going to be VVD. I remember in the mid to late 90's - the best boys from Brazil up front would always struggle against Marcel Dessailly - just so dominant the original Ronaldo could not deal with him and neither could Romario.
