why is that Mr I would be interested to know? I would vote for anyoen based on their merit each election not what they did 20 years ago ETC
And hopefully you don't use the they are all toffs from posh schools and help the rich blah blah

they are, though.
it's because there's nothing ideologically progressive about them, and i'm fucking sick of' business as usual'.

surely though most MPs from all parties are well educated, well off and from decent backgrounds. Clegg is a rich kid whose dad was a big banker.
The days of the Prescott power to the poeple MP are long gone.
Did you not notice how the Labour MPs who had to pay money back of the of thousands for dodgy expenses just paid it back the next day. Hardly poor fuckers are they.
To me it is simple, no party is perfect but I get fed up with the way labour reward the failures and punish people whio are successful in any way. Welfare has gone crazy and labout are too soft on spongers. Someone needs to get tough on the idle and Labour are never going to do that.
Don't get me wrong the Tories will tax me to death next month in the budget but I have to live with that due to the defecit. I do think more things should be means tested, child benefits for example has always been a strange one that everyone with kids gets it regardless of your situation.
13 yrs ago it was the right time for a more central Labour party to take over, now it is a good time for a harder righter wing approach to sort out the country's problems.
