Okay, so at the very least we've secured 3rd, but who is your preferred choice of team for 4th - Arsenal or Everton?

I don't have a preference but for Everton to do it they probably have to get something against City, which is obviously what we all want.

Everton, anything is better than watching Arsenal go through the motions for the cash yet again

Everton. Arsenal's player pulling power is greatly reduced, and makes them less of competitors next year.

Everton's squad is too small to compete in both the PL and the CL. The money they get from the CL isn't going to be enough to really reinforce their squad, and that squad will get badly stretched playing in the CL (or the Europa League if they fail at the group stages). Makes them less of competitors next year as well.

Win win.

Everton. Played good footy, good for city, if we win the league it may quell some of the bitterness if they have that to look forward to and they're not going to do much so let them have a play. Oh and Arsenal can just fuck off.

Arsenal, as it would help keep Wenger in the job, thus weakening a rival & I think Everton are having a exceptional year but will be also rans next season.
As an OOTer, day-tripper or "some Euroboy", I don't care about how good or bad other clubs do. My hate for Man Utd stems generally from that cunt Ferguson, so seeing them fail is funny because I know it's hurting him, but other than that & seeing a rival weakening, I don't care.

Everton. I think they blew it with that loss to Palace, though. Gave Arsenal a great boost at just the wrong time, plus their run in far easier.

Everton. Because of their class regarding Hillsborough mainly, and if they get 4th, they'll probably have taken something off City next week.

Everton. Any day.

I like Martinez.
Also gives the Mancs pause for thought about the chosen one.

i thought i might get hounded if i said everton but seems it's the other way round .

forget their fans for a minute , as a football fan you have to admire what martinez has done there and the style of football his team plays.

plus i fucking hate arsenal .

If that were to happen and we win the league, we'd make an absolute fortune from CL tv money next season. Probably something towards £50m just for the group stage.

That's still the old CL media revenues, am I right? The new bumper deal doesn't kick in until the 2015/2016 CL, correct?
