Let's estimate that we've got 20m left in our transfer kitty right now with 5 days to go until the window slams shut (oof). We've had 2 tough games to begin to assess where we are as a squad.

Who are you going to target with the 20m? Additional realistic sales allowed to add to the kitty.



I'd look to loan to permanent sign Song (funded by offloading Borini/Assaidi/Agger) and go for the mooted loan deal for Falcao on keeping with our gung-ho mentality of last season.

We need more genuine quality up top.

I think a DM and Song is the clearest choice because of his availability and what he can offer (premiereship experience, athleticism, ability to power forward, pick a pass). He's an effective upgrade on Lucas and would gives us a selection of four midfielders (Hendo, Allen, Can, Song) to choose from for the box to box positions.

Just to be sure, I mean a first choice keeper, not a back up keeper to sit on the bench. Jones is perfectly capable of that.

Without doubt a dedicated DM. Song, whoever, someone who can track runners, tackle, help out the defence and has a brain.
This isn't going to happen in a million years though as Rodgers thinks that Gerrard is the Baresi of DM's.

Well, it looks like Lucas is going. Borini could be on his way to Milan if not Sunderland.
Still think we'll sign one more midfielder if Lucas goes and the money is there.
