We will still win it at Palace...
Have you had any experience of getting tickets to Palace before? I am going to try and find a way to get in the home end.
We will still win it at Palace...
Also - I will come up, 100% if there is a chance of the title, and about 50% if we are just going to have an end of season drinkies.
We should book/ hire an area of a bar if this happens as it sounds like we are getting quite a few of us. Will there be bars showing it if its a 3pm kick off?
I though a couple of weeks ago that we punched above our weight, and that Chelsea and City would settle the score between them. But we do have the quality to win it! Having said that it is not certain we do....I'd consider going. I'm like a giddy little teenager this season. I'm far more hopeful that we can actually win it than in 2009. I thought in 2009 we punched above our weight. But this season, we have a quality team.

We definitely have. There's a lot of pressure though.
But as everyone keeps saying, one game at a time.....
It'll be fucking hard to book an area of a bar even if there are that many of us.
I know one place (other than the exorbitantly priced places that will have no atmosphere & always take bookings) that did for the cl final, they may sort us out.
For the locals it's the flute on Hardman Street, boss big screen, cheapish lager & ales.
We'd probably need 20 of us or close to get a place held I reckon though.
For the cl final we got there at 4pm & they closed the doors about hour later on a huge queue.
To put it in perspective, there was almoat a million people in Liverpool the day after, so I'm guessing at least half that in town watching it the night before.
Were you flying from? Manchester have quite good flight connections. (They showed that on saturday!!)Just checked flights, LOL.
Reach London on 11 May at 6:20am. Anyway I can make it to Liverpool in time for kick off to watch in a pub?

I'd rather watch it in around Anfield. That way IF a miracle ticket popped up we'd be near the ground. Also the atmosphere would be better no?
One game at a time.
In a thread where people are actively planning their visit to the city to watch us win the league in six games time.
Lol.
Us fans are a funny lot.
Haha that gave me a great laugh. The 'oul cunt coundn't even give us a mention in the top six. What a fucking bellend.
I hope hes shitting himself at the thought of seeing Stevie lifting the trophy.

The atmosphere during the game I guess would be better in town.
However, big advantages to watching it near the ground would be easier to get a place in the pub to watch it (as most would be in the ground, obv) & the celebrations afterwards would be fucking obscene too, then into town & to the usually awful concert Sq to relive that atmosphere from 05. For those that don't know, it's a relatively small penned in square surrounded by bars, & it filled with thousands of fans singing & dancing within an hour or so. We left the pub & walked down & you could hear it from a long long way away, it was simply incredible. You couldn't get served yet everyone stayed there for hours singing & dancing. Banners & flags were brought down & it was like nothing I've ever seen.
Of course, the next day was astounding, standing room only for miles around st Georges Hall whilst the bus came past, but that was planned, organised, the night before was sheer spontaneous release of unbridled joy. There were also quite a lot of Everton fans standing clapping & saying we deserved it, as there were loads in Everton tops clapping the parade the next day.
