If the right back for the reserves/Under 23's can't get a game when Alexander Arnold and Gomez are unavailable either we haven't got good enough quality back up for that position or Klopp doesn't trust them enough. If you were a young right back and couldn't get a game when there's an injury crisis in your position then you'd be a bit disheartened wouldn't you?
Playing various midfielders as full backs didn't really work for Rodgers and it's not working much better for Klopp at the moment. I know MIlner played left back for a whole season but the only first team alternative then was Moreno who we all think is incompetent. Milner apparently didn't like playing there and given that he's a bit slower than he was then it's asking too much of him to play there much now as showed against Zaha and also at West Ham, defensively at least. We also need him in midfield now anyway with all the injuries we have there.
