Ludicrous Rumours P2

He will be 33 next season, this is probably the last mega money move he can make. Real have a 5 year contract and billion euro buy out clause so if Utd want to get him it will cost them an absolute fortune.

Liverpool will offer Celtic Ryan Kent on loa mn as a sweetner for any deal involving Kieran Tierney.

Soooo generous of us. Chances of happening - 14%

Dier is shite. If I was Spurs he'd be the player I'd be happiest to sell. 50M? Yep. Hope Utd get him.
He's best mates with Dele Alli and well liked in the dressing room. He's not worth anywhere near 50m, but sometimes a player is worth more than money if they help knit the dressing room together.

I don't think he's sh!te as a DM (though a fee of £50 mill.for him is a joke). He is when he's played in the back four though, and one reason why he's willing to leave Tottenham is said to be that Pochettino keeps switching him between midfield and defence.

*ludicrous rumour inbound*

is anybody worried over the prospect of Ronaldo going back to utd ?

reports that he's unhappy for er being caught at tax evasion and because Spain is mean he wants to leave. surely his ego would prevent him of going to China and he doesn't need the loot and likewise , he must feel he has too much to offer to end up in the US ?

which leaves PSG or utd ?
Ronaldo hates mourinho so no chance of him going there at all.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is to tell Arsenal he wants to leave the club this summer in what could become one of the most interesting transfer sagas of the summer, reports the Sunday Times’ Jonathan Northcroft.

On Saturday afternoon reports surfaced suggesting that Oxlade-Chamberlain was frustrated at Arsenal for not offering him a new contract, with just one year left on his existing deal.
A few weeks ago it emerged that Arsenal were confident of tying the 23-year-old down to a new deal, but bizarrely, no such offer has been forthcoming.
It’s reported this evening that Oxlade-Chamberlain remains a key target for Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of the midfielders versatility and work ethic. The player is keen to play regular football with the 2018 World Cup looming.

It’s thought that Arsenal will demand over £25m for Oxlade-Chamberlain, with the player keen to find a new club before pre-season begins.
The Southampton academy graduate enjoyed an excellent end to the season with Arsenal and thrived in the wing back role he was used in when Arsene Wenger changed the teams formation to a 3-4-3.
After their FA Cup final win against Chelsea, Oxlade-Chamberlain was asked about his preferred position and said ‘he’d always wanted to be like Steven Gerrard’ and play in central midfield. Around a month ago it was reported that the midfielder was very tempted by the prospect of playing under Jürgen Klopp.

Liverpool in for £11m Alberto Moreno replacement

Reports in Spain are claiming that Liverpool are interested in signing Brazilian left back Zeca as a replacement for Alberto Moreno this summer.
Spanish publication ‘AS’ are linking Liverpool with an £11m move for 23-year old Santos left back José Carlos Neto – or ‘Zeca’ – as a possible replacement for the erratic Alberto Moreno who is expected to be sold.
The Brazilian has been plying his trade in his home country since 2014 but it was in 2016 when he became an internationally recognised name, winning a gold medal with Brazil at the Olympics. The idea of signing a left back in itself is highly appealing, given that Klopp has been forced to use James Milner in the position for much of the last 12 months but what really stands out about Zeca are his two-footed capabilities.

As well as being able to cut in onto his right foot and pass infield or shoot – also known as ‘the Milner’ – the left back is equally adept at bursting to the byline and delivering crosses on his left, something that the Reds lacked across 2016/17. The addition of a naturally left footed option at left back is something desperately needed after Milner spent much of the final 3 months of last season unable to make a significant impact going forward, such was the predictability of his game.

These rumours see Zeca added to a long list of supposed left-back targets linked to the Reds with the likes of Benjamin Mendy, Ryan Sessegnon and Porto’s Rafa Soares all being previously thrown into the mixer so far.

According to the Metro they only want £26m

Thomas Lemar is holding off talks over a new contract with Monaco as he is waiting to see if Arsenal will follow up their interest, according to reports in France.
The 21-year-old still has three years remaining on his deal with the Ligue 1 champions but L’Equipe claim that the midfielder is holding out for Arsene Wenger to make a move.
Real Madrid team-mate tells wantaway star Cristiano Ronaldo to join him at new club
Two weeks ago, L’Equipe reported that Lemar was open to joining Arsenal this summer, even though the club will not be playing in the Champions League next season.
Monaco are also reportedly open to selling the France international but only if an offer of €30 million (£26m) is received.

Brighton have placed a £10M bid for Werder Bremen's Thomas Delaney.

The offer was refused point-blank by the German club.

Everton and several un-named Premiership clubs are supposedly also interested in the 25-year-old midfield dynamo.

Word on the Twitterverse is that Dave Maddock says we have not given up on pursuing VVD and that he is intent on joining us (possible, but a mountain to climb that), we are not interested in signing Ben Mendy from Monaco and are more interested in Tierney from Celtic.

Oh and in addition to the above, Twitter also says that Maddock says that if we fail in signing Keita, Klopp will focus instead on Goretzka who is has so far impressed in the current Confederations Cup.

Its a piece in the mirror. He said Goretzka is wanted by Munich so won't be cheap.

He also mentioned Robertson as an alternative for LB.

His alternatives for CB included Boetang from Munich or Bonucci from Juve, so take his mutterings with a large dollop of salt.

Bonucci will stay at Juventus.

Rumours of a bust up at Juventus are complete nonsense - all stemming from Dani Alves comments as he pushes for a move to Man City.

Gary Monk, Boro's new manager, have no use for Viktor Fischer (now he's not even fit to play in the Championship allegedly) and the former Ajax-man is on his way to Germany and Mainz instead.

That all went very well for him, didn't it..

I am clueless about what is actually going on here, but Boro must feel he's not good enough which I obv do find somewhat strange.. bewildering, almost.

You can't just be fancy flicks and turn up for the odd pass when playing for the likes of boro. The players are expected to put a shift in and Fischer was probably not up to it.

Dembele to Barcelona?

[article]
Fascinating reports are emerging about Barcelona’s pursuit of Ousmane Dembele claiming that the player has agreed to sign a five-year deal with the Spanish giants. This is despite no fee being agreed with Borussia Dortmund.

Sport report that Barcelona won’t meet BVB’s demands for €80 million (£70.5 million). However, they are prepared to part with €50 million (£44.1 million) plus another €20 million (£17.6 million) in add-ons.

The Mirror report that Dortmund are furious with Barca over the aggressive manner in which they’re pursuing and trying to unsettle Dembele. If they continue to annoy Dortmund then the Bundesliga giants will take legal action.

Traore to Lyon? (which means Lacazette is gone imo)

[article]
Chelsea and Lyon have come to an agreement over the transfer of Bertrand Traore, according to a report this evening from L’Equipe.

Rumours had broken over recent weeks that the sides were close to an agreement, with just the finer details of the deal left to be worked out.

And, this evening, it looks as though an accord has been reached, with the French side set to fork out 19 million Euro for the 21-year-old.

Liverpool have reportedly had an £88million bid rejected by Monaco for the transfer of in-demand striker Kylian Mbappe, who is holding out for a move to Real Madrid.

While Mbappe has looked slightly out of Liverpool’s league due to links with moneybags Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, that has seemingly not stopped the Reds from trying an ambitious move for him.The France international has been linked with a host of elite European clubs this summer, with latest reports claiming Arsenal are ready to try again for him despite also seeing an offer turned down this summer.

According to Marca, the Merseyside giants offered £88m for the 18-year-old, but have failed to convince the Ligue 1 champions to sell at that price.
Mbappe is widely expected to cost over £100m this summer after a tremendous breakthrough season in 2016/17 which saw him score 26 goals in all competitions.
