FT LFC 4, Boro 3. Strange match, LFC very assured in the first half, then a few sloppy errors crept in during the second 45. Rossiter was outstanding once again, Ibe, Ilori, Brannagan and (to a lesser extent) Roddan also kept up their momentum, and McLaughlin came on as sub and got a decent run out. Teixeira was the other quality player, he looks so consistently classy this season.

How many times is that?. Are you REALLY starting being a twat about another player THIS early??

I just got a warning from Ross about being WUM etc. But OK, I'll let this one slide, but if writing this,
The kid seems prone to injury but it's good that he's back.

is equal to being a twat about someone, considering that McLaughlin has been out injured plenty of times, then there's definitely something wrong with you. I don't know if you require me to list every time he's been injured which I'm not going to do considering that you know best about McLaughlin.

That's all I have to say. McLaughlin has never been injured before and I should have known that a 23 year old clattered him.

I really don't get what pleasure you get in this kind of nonsense. You're quite likeable when you're not trying to be a WUM, but you really are in the groove as far as that's going.

Absolutely brilliant reply. You're a bit stranded when you don't get the reaction you want. Best go back to the Lucas thread.

I only semi paid attention to the second half but during the first it seemed too easy for a few of our players, Teixeira could do with a proper loan and Ibe too if he's not going to get near the first team. You don't learn very much rolling over poor sides, obviously the second half was more difficult and they'll have tough matches at this level I'm sure but I'd like to see them do the whole lower league loan thing and grow as players/people.

Did the commentator say 4 matches before christmas or the new year? doesn't sound like enough even if they add a few friendlies.

again, whatever, I don't care. You were right, I was wrong. Never gonna mention McLaughlin and injuries again. You know best.

They're travelling abroad for, I think, three friendlies. You're right, though, it's not enough.

That doesn't sound as bad and fair play to those involved for organising games but it reminds me of Rafa talking about allowing B sides into the lower leagues for some actual competition. I don't necessarily agree with the idea but maybe something like united shifting all their players to antwerp might be appropriate, theres a good amount of ex antwerp loanees that made it to the top or second tier of English football.

Psychiatrists term that projection. Anyway, the fact is that you were perfectly happy to praise McLaughlin until today, when the Walking Dead-style WUM zombie virus that lurks in your blood once again took a grip. You're picking off people one by one to piss off on here, for god knows what reason, but just stop before you embarrass yourself any more.

Yes. Sadly they had a good set up last year with the european tournament and then that was taken away. Something needs changing now.

You can write a book on the issue if you want. Whatever, don't care and you were right.
