Your next best goal threat shouldn't have started and had to be taken off early.

On the bench, you have a total muppet who wouldn't score in a brothel with a fist full of twenties.

What do you do?
 
I'd have taken off Ngog, pushed Kuyt up front and brought Babel on. I know, but I was desparate.
 
Not really sure, not many options. I mean I wouldn't have taken Benny off(unless there was something other than tactical), but I'm not sure who I'd really think on that bench would make the difference.

I think it was a gamble with Sunday in mind. Stuck with the prospect of Torres and Gerrard out, he's our next best attacking player, bearing in mind too that we don't know whether there was any other underlying problem pre or during the match. It's harsh to judge such a decision when the squad is so thin.

The taking off of Yossi didn't cost us, our own naivety did.
 
I've lost all faith in Rafa after this tonight. Benny was our best player by a mile tonight. ANything good we did involved him, and he gets taken off for a waste of space who couldn't even pass it 5 yards to a Liverpool player, instead putting it out for a throw.
 
I take Insua off, but I don't drop Aurelio back. I bring Babel on (he can't have been worse than against Sunderland and he knew he could 'save the day' so prolly woulda been ok) and stick him up with N'gog.

1 Minute later I use my 2nd sub (because I wouldn't have been a tit and took Kelly off for Skrtel so would still have it) and bring Voronin on, he can play just behind Babel. Then I tell the fuckers they attack, attack, attack till FT or they do 100 laps of Melwood on Thursday.
 
we're really very limited on the bench and making subs, until we get players back whatever he does won't help much
