Why do people keep saying we've been shit for 25 years ? - we have not, we just have not won the league and that has been primarily down to inconsistency in the team in every single season since then, and a lack of will power. In the last 25 years we have been in a number of finals including 2 European cup finals - and probably was the number one ranked team in Europe under Rafa for a period. I think we have also been runners up 3 times in the league. Shit is when you have been relegated like the Mancs were at one time.
I may be wrong here (i am very drunk), but I think, league aside, we've won everything we could have won at least once in the time since Everton won the fa cup in 1995.
