I as wrecked & haven't been to town drinking at night since, so it could well have been, I'm pretty much a tourist myself to the city centre now!
I wanna go to motel, the owner said he went for a Americana graphic novel inspired feel & the photos look like he pulled it off.
Never been there. It is meant to be boss. Music is supposed to be great which is always a bonus for me.

We traditionally start drinkies in town in wethers by St John's, simply cos it's cheap so your drunk base can be filled without spending a fortune, it's big enough that everyone can find it, & the no music policy means everyone can have a good chat & remember everyone else's real names so no one has to shout 'RedNinja, beer?' at the top of their voice in a crowded noisy bar later on!

All I remember from that bar is jeagers, & velvet curtains. Fuck all else. I was completely fucked.

Just found out that two of my friends from Cork currently living in Vancouver are coming too. They fly back into Ireland Friday and then fly to Liverpool first thing Saturday morning. One of the has never been to Anfield.
I've got the name tags at the ready for us guys. Spent all weekend writing them up. I toyed with just putting 'real names' on them but then I decided to include forum names for symmetry. Then I had a brainwave, to avoid any confusion, I contacted Avvy and had him sketch up each person's avator on MS Paint. I'll give them out in the Harry. Sadly, Avvy's MS paint skills have not improved, my avator sketch looks a bit less Pepe Reina bit more Phil Mitchell in a pair of Predators.
