I don't feel let down or dissapointed by alonso. He's class and I'll be supporting him in the world cup I hope he wins it
[/quote]I'd like Spain to win it but I hope Alosnos isn't in the team. Childish I know but I hope he has a shit season with Madrid as well.

I'm sad because I loved watching Xabi play football. He was one of my favourite Liverpool players. Now he's gone, I'll still like watching him play football (especially for Spain) but I'll never feel that love again.

If he comes to Anfield again, though, I would definitely applaud, not boo, him. Make him understand what classy, great supporters he's given up for a bunch of spoilt, hanky-waving cunts.

That sunny summers afternoon in 2004 when the first of the Spanish amigo's arrived seems like a long time ago now, looking all tanned and smiley, they emerged onto the Anfield pitch. No one at that moment, not even the most blindly enthusiastic of fans, could have for a second predicted how that season would end. Memories of that night are forever imprinted in the minds of every Reds fan: 25th May 2005. The night that cemented the names of every player who wore the Liverpool shirt that night in the minds of Reds everywhere. Whilst years from now we might have to ponder on a couple of the names to remember them to pass on to our kids, once that I know I'll never forget is Xabi Alonso, and his part in that amazing night.

But whilst many may see that as his defining moment as a Red, I'll remember him for so much more. I thank you Xabi, not just for that goal, or even those goals against Newcastle and Luton or even for your spectacular 40 yard balls that you often pinged across the field. I thank you for every little unnoticed pass you played, he distribution and steady play you provided in the middle of the park, and for the character you've been, never once in five years have you complained.

YNWA, even if I am the only one that has a nice word to say about you.

I agree with that.

Though I'd still prefer him to become a troubled alcoholic, spending his days in a cockroach infested Madrid apartment, pining for Liverpool, rocking back and forth in his own vomit, as he murmurs the words to YNWA.

I'm the least emotional person in the world Skulls, it's the internet, they're just words.

I never cry, I'm rarely majorly angry. It's comforting to know that I can create an emotional persona with my words, althuogh perhaps not so comforting or entertaining for you guys.

I'm not even sorry.

That could happen afterwards. With constant flashbacks to his generous Anfield reception, prior to being played off the pitch by the Rafa-transformed Poulsen-Lucas CM partnership in a devastating and Perez-suicide-causing 9-0 defeat.

I like Skullflower from the internet, I think I'd be a bit scared of Skullflower of flesh and bones.

Well, erm you have cement pages which you ingrave into, obv.

Lol @ my mum's perspective on it: 'Oh if he's Spanish and going back to Spain that's okay, you'd be justified in being upset if he was going to another country or another team here, but he probably just wants to be with his family. You shouldn't be unhappy with that'. Erm, thank mum.
