WWIII Return of the Ruskie

Lots of videos of this have been shared in Ireland.

And unfortunately the Russians are right. The Guards were parked 20 yards away and didn't intervene.

And the criminal mastermind behind it was telling people the Russian ambassador needs to fuck off back to Poland.

Not sure why there would need to be a conspiracy about the war being fake?

Some of the 'fact checked' posts were posted on this thread also so worth just picking out what's not right

The fact-checkers get paid, war is currently the main story, so the fact checkers now need to check war facts lest god forbid they miss out on the latest most juiciest of gravy trains.

Are you going to be able to get your truck fixed for your next humanitarian intervention?

RUSSIA is demanding an official apology and “full compensation” from the Irish government for the damage caused to its embassy in yesterday’s truck ramming incident, according to reports in Moscow.

The Russian state news agency TASS has reported that the Irish Ambassador to Moscow Brian McElduff was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in Moscow today and strongly reprimanded.

In a statement afterwards the Ministry claimed demonstrators outside their Irish base on Orwell Road in Dublin have “adopted tactics widely used by terrorists”.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin has been contacted for comment.

A businessman was charged this morning with criminal damage and dangerous driving after a truck went through the gates of Dublin's Russian embassy in a protest against the war in Ukraine.

Church supplier Desmond Wisley (49) appeared in court today after he was arrested over the incident yesterday.

So that's his name, in large lettering, on the side of the truck he used to perpetrate the crime? There is a high likelihood that this is a true representation of his mugshot.

He also stood beside the crashed truck handing out leaflets, telling everyone his name and suggesting the Russian ambassador fuck off back to Poland.

It's kinda weird to see the cancel culture and horrible rifts we've seen caused by the likes of Covid, Trump and Brexit in recent years play out on an international level now.

Yup. There's now pressure on Coca Cola and Mcdonalds to shut down operations in Russia.
Really though, kinda feels like Ukraine is already the sacrificial lamb. It's gonna get smashed, just gotta push Russian economy down as much as possible and hope he doesn't try to mess with the rest of Europe.

McDonalds has bowed to pressure. All stores shuttered in Russia.

So apparently the deal with the MIGs going to Ukraine is a done thing. It's been done in a way so on paper it looks like a simple trade deal which the Russians have been doing for years.

What I don't understand is why Ukraine has pilots who can fly MIGs but no MIGs of their own?

I think it's a bit weird that anyone is calling it cancel culture. You usually don't trade with people who are threatening nuclear war. It's a manners thing.

Yeah, Tchaikovsky is notorious for dishing out nuclear threats. Or Russian cats...

maybe they are shot down, and/or they have more pilots than planes?

The Indian air force refers to their outdated MIGs as flying coffins. I think Poland have pulled off a total dick move on the poor bastards who will be piloting them.

Maybe they'll just use them to shoot those trucks that are stuck in mud.

Apparently they don't have any pilots who can fly other planes. Only MiGs.

What are you even talking about?

Didn't you see the end of Independence Day?

Even the old fella from Vietnam who had been flying a crop duster to was able to hop in a top end fighter jet and fight the invasion.

The perceived slowness of the Russians is allowing Ukraine to beef up their resistance. Getting weaponry from all over. Few foreign fighters going in as well. Russia also getting bombarded with sanction, reduced oil and gas contracts, Western companies shutting down all over Russia.

Total mess. Disaster capitalists are watching the markets. Evraz and Polymetal, the 2 Russian companies in the FTSE100...( being kicked out shortly).Speculators making a few quid. Banks could rebound quickly if Putin get hit. The moneymen in Russia are after him for sure.
